Fightful Select reported that several WWE talents spoken to stated that that had heard of similar talk backstage of Ford and Dawkins being frustrated. It was reported that those spoken to stated that they currently do not know if this frustration is genuine or if it is part of a “grander work for the show.”
In regards to Ford and Dawkins’ contract status, it was reportedly that it is currently not known how much time the Street Profits have left on their current deals with WWE. It was reported that both Ford and Dawkins had signed a contract extension in 2019 but it is not known if they had signed for three or five years, the latter would mean their deals could be up imminently.
Update on Bruce Prichard “Indefinite” Leave of Abscesses from WWE
As noted before, WWE Executive Director Bruce Prichard is currently on an “indefinite” leave of absence from WWE.
A recent episode of the Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard podcast featured co-host Conrad Thompson providing an update on Prichard’s current absence from WWE.
“I just want to address the elephant in the room. There’s been a lot of rumor and innuendo about Bruce Prichard. Just to clear it up, Bruce Prichard is still with WWE. Bruce Prichard is not quitting his podcast. But if you’re a longtime listener of this show, you know that there have been health events in the Prichard family and household, and right now, Brice is gonna take a little bit of a leave of absence from WWE, and he’s gonna be away, taking care of what’s really important.”
