Ava to Make “Special Announcement” at 11/6 NXT Show

WWE announced one new segment for the card of this week’s NXT show on Wednesday, November 6th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This new segment announced was NXT General Manager Ava to make a “special announcement” during the show.

Current card for November 6th WWE NXT show:

  • Special Guest Referee Hardcore match – Lola Vice vs. Jaida Parker, with Dawn Marie as guest referee
  • 10-Women Tag Team match – Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, & Jazmyn Nyx), Cora Jade, & Roxanne Perez vs. Zaria, Stephanie Vaquer, Kelani Jordan, Giulia, & Jordynne Grace
  • Bubba Ray Dudley & Trick Williams vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page & Ridge Holland
  • Wes Lee vs. Je’Von Evans
  • Francine to appear

Baron Corbin Thanks Fans Following WWE Departure

As noted before, Baron Corbin was released by WWE this past Friday as part of a new batch of talent releases.

Corbin reflected on Twitter earlier today thanking the fans for all of the support they had shown towards him since his release.

In a follow-up tweet, Corbin also confirmed Fightful’s report about he was among the WWE talent who attended a WWE commercial shoot for Netflix on October 27th.


Update on WWE’s Current Plans for Gunther vs. Goldberg Match

As noted before, Goldberg announced this past Saturday that he will be having a retirement match for his career in WWE in 2025. During his appearance on ESPN SEC Network’s show coverage of the Florida vs. Alabama college football game, Goldberg teased that his retirement opponent will very likely be Gunther and in reference to their altercation segment at this past October’s Bad Blood 2024 event.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported in Sunday’s Daily Update that his sources stated that WWE officials currently do not have any plans for Goldberg’s retirement match to take place at next year’s Royal Rumble event.

Meltzer reported that the date for Goldberg’s retirement match is currently not known.
