Steph De Lander Neck Injury Status Update

As noted before, Steph De Lander has been out of action for TNA Wrestling and the indies since this past September due to a neck injury and surgery.

A recent episode of The Commentary Booth podcast featured De Lander as the guest. One of the topics discussed included De Lander providing an update on her recovery from her neck injury.

“Good, feels good. Just a little cut [on my neck], I’ve got some bandages on it. I feel great. It’s been just about two weeks since since surgery now, and obviously I’ve got a long ways to go as far as recovery is concerned, but for two weeks post neck surgery, I’m feeling pretty good. When you hear neck surgery, you think worse case scenario. Obviously, neck injuries can be very, very dangerous. But luckily mine is kind of a preventative, like ‘Look, you’ve got this [nagging] neck issue. Let’s get it taken care of while we can, while you can recover, come back from it, be 100%,’ rather than waiting until it gets worse. So I’m feeling good, I’m happy I did it, on the road to recovery.”

AAA Announces Two Match Changes for Guerra De Titanes 2024 Event

Lucha Libre AAA announced that they have recently made two changes to the card of their Guerra De Titanes 2024 event, which takes place on November 10th at the Josué Neri Santos Gymnasium in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.

The first new change was Pagano replacing El Hijo del Vikingo for his scheduled match against Alberto El Patron for the AAA Mega Championship.

The second new change was Vampiro & Mecha Wolf now having a mystery partner for their Lights Out Trios match against Los Viperz (Taurus, Abismo Negro Jr., & Psicosis II). Pagano had originally been scheduled to compete on Vampiro’s team for this match.

Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Indies wrestler Unagi Sayaka announced that she recently suffered a fractured rib injury and will be out of action for the foreseeable future. Sayaka stated that she suffered the injury at CMLL’s Grand Prix de Amazonas 2024 event this past October in Mexico City, Mexico.

Major League Wrestling announced that The Andersons (Brock Anderson & CW Anderson) will be making an appearance at their MLW Fusion tapings on November 9th in Cicero, Illinois.

MLW also recently announced one new match for the card of their upcoming co-promoted Lucha Apocalypto event with CMLL on November 9th in Cicero:

TNA Wrestling recently released a new ABC shirt at their online TNAMerch.com shop and announced all proceeds generated will go directly towards Chris Bey to help financially support him following his recent neck injury.
