Josh Alexander vs. Steve Maclin No DQ Match Announced for TNA Turning Point 2024

TNA Wrestling announced one new match for the card of their Turning Point 2024 event, which takes place on November 29th at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

This new match announced was a No DQ match of Josh Alexander vs. Steve Maclin.

Timothy Thatcher vs. Charlie Dempsey Announced for WWN Event This December

World Wrestling Network recently announced the first official match for the card of their Supershow: Battle Of The Belts 2024 event on December 15th in Clearwater, Florida.

This new match announced was a singles match of Timothy Thatcher vs. Charlie Dempsey.

Netflix recently announced that this past Friday’s Mike Tyson vs. Logan Paul boxing event in Arlington, Texas drew 108 million total global viewers on their service and a live gate of $18.1 million.

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced that “Filthy” Tom Lawlor will be holding a seminar at their LA Dojo on December 16th in Los Angeles, California.

As noted before, Lucha Libre AAA talent El Hijo del Vikingo has been out of action since this past October due to a right knee injury. PROGRESS Wrestling recently announced that they have pulled Vikingo from their Vendetta 2 event on November 24th in London, England due to him not being able to be medically cleared to compete in time.

Former WWE wrestler Gangrel recently revealed on Twitter that he had underwent successful total hip replacement surgery three months ago and has been recovering and feeling good. Gangrel statedI’ve been hanging low last 4 months, reason is I had a total hip replacement 3 months ago and 3 weeks ago a total knee replacement. I’m on my way back up and feeling good!

Game Changer Wrestling recently announced that WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield will be making an appearance for the company at their Dream On event on November 23rd in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

GCW also recently announced that Mance Warner, Masha Slamovich, Sidney Akeem, and Maki Itoh will be making an appearance for the company at their GCW Live In London event on January 26, 2025 in London, England.

GCW owner Bret Lauderdale recently revealed on Twitter that WWE NXT’s Giulia was in attendance backstage at GCW’s Nick Gage Invitational 9 event this past Saturday in Orlando, Florida.

Major League Wrestling recently announced that Okumura and CMLL talents Dark Panther and Blue Panther will be making an appearance at their Kings of Colosseum 2025 event on January 11, 2025 in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Dave Meltzer reported in last week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that MLW Head of Production David Marquez was released from the company last week. Meltzer reported that those spoken to stated that Marquez’s departure was related to production issues that delayed the airing of MLW’s recent Lucha Apocalypto event.
