- HoT did their usual cheating style antics throughout the match with Dick Togo & Yoshinobu Kanemaru getting involved at ringside only to eventually fail to steal a victory leading to Great-O-Khan & HENARE hitting a double team Imperial Drop to Narita and Khan getting the pinfall victory.
- Following the match, Khan & HENARE’s victory celebration was interrupted by the lights going off and a video airing on the big screen featuring the Young Bucks. During their speech, the Young Bucks issued a challenge to the IWGP Tag Team championship, currently held by Khan & HENARE, for Wrestle Dynasty. After the video ended, HENARE grabbed a microphone and was upset over what just happened and Khan responded finishing out their victory speech.
