This past Saturday’s AEW Full Gear 2024 event at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey featured Big Boom AJ, also known as Costco Guy AJ, defeating QT Marshall in a Zero Hour pre-show match.
AEW announced earlier today on Twitter that AJ had suffered a broken foot injury during his match against Marshall.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated AJ’s injury did not occur during the match itself but instead had actually occurred earlier in the day prior to the show.
AJ reportedly was stated to have “largely kept it to himself” due to he did not want to disappoint fans or “waste” all the promotion that had gone into his match against Marshall.
