AEW Announces Change for Continental Classic 2024 Winner Format

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Chicago, Illinois featured the official start of this year’s Continental Classic tournament.

Prior to the start of the first match of the tournament, it was announced that one change was made in regards to the format for this year’s tournament.

This change was revealed to be the addition of a Semifinal round that will feature the winner of Gold League facing off against the runner-up of Blue League and the winner of Blue League facing off against the runner-up of Gold League. It was announced that these Semifinal round matches will be taking place at AEW Worlds End 2024 on December 28th in Orlando, Florida and the winners of those two matches to face off in the Finals on the same show.

Hangman Adam Page vs. Wheeler Yuta and Continental Classic Gold League Match Announced for This Saturday’s AEW Collision Show

AEW announced two new matches for this week’s AEW Collision show on November 30th.

This week’s show will be taped on Wednesday, November 27th at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

The first new match announced was a singles match of Hangman Adam Page vs. Wheeler Yuta.

The second new match announced was a Continental Classic Gold League match of Will Ospreay vs. Juice Robinson.

Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale & Two More Matches Announced for December 4th AEW Dynamite Show

AEW announced three new matches for the card of next week’s AEW Dynamite show on December 4th at the Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana.

The first new match announced was a Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale match.
