Powerhouse Hobbs Comments on His Plans for His Character’s Evolution in AEW
As noted before, Powerhouse Hobbs made his surprise return from a knee injury to AEW earlier this month.
Uproxx held a recent interview with Hobbs. One of the topics discussed included Hobbs’ thoughts about his current plans for his character’s evolution following his recent return to AEW.
“I’m going to start bringing my life into my character, the things that I hate, the things that I love. I’m just gonna show everyone how much more intense I can be, how destructive I can be, how I don’t give a shit at times who’s in my way,” Hobbs says. “In the end, this business, there only can be one. It’s going to come to a point where I’m going to show everybody that it’s all about me. They’re either going to be with me or be against me. It doesn’t matter. They boo me, I’m just going to start tearing everything up in front of them. I think that’s what wrestling is missing a little bit. That one guy who makes people afraid, but they want to see him kick someone’s ass. I feel that it’s time to bring it out.”
CM Punk Comments on “I Feel Like I Wasted Some Matches On Some People In AEW”
A recent episode of the Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg podcast featured former AEW and current WWE talent CM Punk. One of the topics discussed included Punk’s thoughts about if there was anyone in AEW that he didn’t get to tell a story with that he would have liked to and his belief that he “wasted” some matches on some people in the company.
“No. I feel like I wasted some matches on some people for sure [laughs], but that is what it is. Like, some people understand the business, some people don’t. You know? And I think everybody here understands the business.”
