Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured two First Round matches for WWE’s current World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s tournament.

The first tournament match was New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) defeating Authors of Pain (Akem & Rezar).

The second tournament match was LWO (Dragon Lee & Rey Mysterio) defeating American Made (Julius & Brutus Creed).

As a result of their victories, New Day and LWO advance to the Triple Threat Finals with War Raiders that will be taking place on next week’s RAW show.

Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed Announced for WWE Crown Jewel 2024

This new match announced was a singles match of Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed.

This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over the bad blood issues between Rollins and Reed. During tonight’s RAW show, Rollins and Reed engaged in several brawls around the venue leading to RAW General Manager Adam Pearce snapping and yelling at both of them. An extremely angry Pearce stated that he has had enough and they will be facing off against each other in a match at Crown Jewel 2024.

Current card for WWE Crown Jewel 2024:

  • Men’s Crown Jewel Championship – Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther
  • Women’s Crown Jewel Championship – Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan
  • Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed

Bron Breakker Wins Intercontinental Title on Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Bron Breakker defeating Jey Uso to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

During the match, the Bloodline came out from the crowd leading to Uso becoming upset over them showing up and laid out Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Uso would then get into a verbal confrontation with Solo Sikoa on the outside that ended after Breakker accidentally speared Sikoa after Uso dodged his running spear attack around the ring. After some more back-and-forth action, Tama & Loa attempted to interfere again leading to Adam Pearce and WWE officials rushing out and sending them to the back. This led to Uso attempted a running spear around the ring to Breakker only to get hit with a superkick by Jacob Fatu while the referee was not looking. Fatu then picked up Uso and hit a Samoan Drop to him onto the announcer’s table that did not break. This then led to Breakker grabbed Uso and tossing him back into the ring and hit a spear for the pinfall victory.

This was Breakker’s second Intercontinental Championship victory in his WWE career.
