WWE NXT Makes Official Debut on The CW

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show in Rosemont, Illinois was notable for being NXT’s official premiere show on The CW.

NXT previously aired on USA Network from September 19, 2019 to September 24, 2024 following its move from the WWE Network.


WWE Debuts New NXT Logo & Intro Song on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT premiere show on The CW featured WWE officially debuting a new logo and intro song for their NXT brand.

At the start of the show, a new silver colored version of the NXT logo was shown.

Besides the new logo, a new intro song also debuted for NXT’s premiere show on The CW. This is “Millions from Now” by Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz.


New NXT Titles Belts Designs Unveiled on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT premiere show on The CW also featured WWE officially unveiling new NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship belts.

At the start of the show, WWE SVP of NXT & Talent Relations and NXT head booker Shawn Michaels came out to the ring that had a podium in the middle with something being covered. Michaels grabbed a microphone and talked about NXT making their debut on The CW and stated we can’t have a new NXT on a new network without new titles. Michaels then took over the covering on the podium revealing newly designed NXT and NXT Women’s titles. This led to WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque showing up and joined in on the introductory celebration for tonight’s premiere show.


Cora Jade Makes Surprise Return on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT premiere show on The CW also featured Cora Jade making her surprise return from injury.

Near the end of the NXT Women’s Championship match between Giulia and Roxanne Perez, a mysterious hood woman ran out and attacked Giulia on the outside while the referee was not looking. This mysterious person then tossed Giulia back into the ring leading to Perez hitting a Pop Rox for the pinfall victory to retain her title. Following the match, the mystery woman pulled back her hood revealing herself to be Jade making her surprise return as Perez looked on in the ring smiling back.

Prior to her return, Jade had been out of action for WWE’s NXT brand since this past January due to a torn ACL injury.


Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill Make Surprise Appearances on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT premiere show on The CW also featured WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill making a surprise appearance.

During the show, Kelani Jordan had a talk with Lola Vice and Jaida Parker backstage about Vice & Parker’s upcoming match against Fatal influence. Following Vice and Parker bickering over who needs the otehr more for their match, Jordan told them to save it for their match. Vice and Parker continued to bicker and left leading to Jordan stating that she was glad she had a backup plan to deal with Fatal Influence tonight.

Following Fatal Influence’s victory over Vice & Parker, Jacy Jayne grabbed a microphone and called out Jordan who was seated at the NXT commentary table as the guest commentator. Jayne stated that they were coming for her NXT Women’s North American Championship. Jordan grabbed a microphone and stated why wait when they can fight tonight. Jordan went into the ring and stated that she didn’t come alone. This led to Belair and Cargill making their surprise appearance and came out to the ring. This then led to a brawl breaking out that ended with Belair and Cargill clearing the ring of Fatal Influence and standing tall with Jordan.


DELTA NXT Debut Video Airs on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT premiere show on The CW also featured Australian indies wrestler DELTA making her official on-screen debut appearance in WWE’s NXT brand.

During the show, a video aired featuring a mysterious woman resembling DELTA walking on a highway that featured two signs revealing the numbers “10” and “27” which is the same date number of this year’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 event on October 27th.


Trick Williams Wins NXT Title on Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT premiere show on The CW also featured Trick Williams defeating Ethan Page to become the new NXT Champion in a Special Guest Referee match that featured CM Punk as the guest referee.

This was Williams’ second NXT Championship victory in his WWE NXT career.


Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, & Kelani Jordan vs. Fatal Influence Announced for Next Week’s Show

Tuesday’s NXT premiere show on The CW also featured one new match announced for the card of next week’s show on October 8th at The Factory At The District in Chesterfield, Missouri.

This new match announced was a Six-Women Tag Team match of Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, & Kelani Jordan vs. Fatal Influence (Jazmyn Nyx, Fallon Henley, & Jacy Jayne).

This match was setup following Belair & Cargill’s surprise appearance on tonight’s show and them brawling with Fatal Influence after Jordan revealed that they were her backup plan to deal with her bad blood issues with Fatal Influence.
