Oba Femi vs. Tony D’Angelo in a Tables, Ladders, & Scares Match for NXT North American Title Set for NXT Halloween Havoc 2024

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured the first of three new matches announced for the card of NXT Halloween Havoc 2024.

This new match announced was a NXT North American Championship Tables, Ladders, & Scares match of Oba Femi vs. Tony D’Angelo (c).

This match was setup following an in-ring promo segment involving D’Angelo and Femi. During the show, D’Angelo was seen seated at a small table in the ring and talked about his victory last week over Femi to win the NXT North American title and praised Femi for his reign as champion.

This led to Femi coming out to the ring and congratulated D’Angelo on the victory and it happened once but it won’t happen again. Femi then revealed that he invoked his rematch clause for the title at NXT’s Halloween Havoc 2024 show and left the ring. Femi then went up to the Halloween Havoc wheeled and spun it revealing that their match will be held as a Tables, Ladders, & Scares match.

Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer Announced for NXT Halloween Havoc 2024

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the second of three new matches announced for the card of NXT Halloween Havoc 2024.

This new match announced was a tag team match of Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer.

This match was setup following a brawl and promo segment involving Giulia, Vaquer, Jade, and Perez. Following Vaquer’s victory over Wren Sinclair in her NXT in-ring debut, Jade & Perez ran out and attacked Vaquer. This led to Giulia running out to save Vaquer and cleared the ring of Jade and Perez. Vaquer grabbed a microphone and issued a challenge to Jade and Perez for a tag team match at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024.

In a follow-up segment, NXT General Manager Ava was seen backstage in her office with Vaquer and Giulia. Ava congratulated Vaquer on her NXT in-ring debut victory and approved their request for a tag team match against Jade & Perez at Halloween Havoc 2024. This led to Fatal Influence showing up to interrupt and complained about if it was that easy for them to get a match at Halloween Havoc, then they demand to be given a match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Ava rejected their request stating that Giulia and Vaquer had valid reasons for their request but if they want a match that badly, then all they have to do is beat Vaquer and Giulia in a tag team match.

Andre Chase Makes Surprise Return at Tuesday’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured Chase U’s Andre Chase making his surprise return.

Following Ridge Holland’s victory over Riley Osborne, Holland attacked Osborne and placed him on the announcer’s table. Before Holland was able to put Osborne through it, Chase’s music played and he ran out to save Osborne. This led to a brief brawl between Holland and Chase that ended with Chase hitting a clothesline to Holland sending him over the top rope and crashing to the outside.

This was Chase’s first appearance in NXT since being “injured” at the hands of Holland at this past September’s NXT No Mercy 2024 show.

Ethan Page vs. Trick Williams in a Devil’s Playground Match for NXT Title Set for NXT Halloween Havoc 2024

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured “All Ego” Ethan Page defeating Wes Lee and Je’Von Evans in a #1 Contender Triple Threat match for the NXT Championship.

Following the match, Page gave a promo and told Williams to come out for them to spin the Halloween Havoc wheel. This led to Williams coming out and the wheel revealing that their match will be held under Devil’s Playground rules. Williams then turned his back in Page and stated no big deal only to be attacked from behind by Page who laid him out with a stage light. Page then held up the NXT title and posed over a fallen Williams as the show went to a close.

As a result of his victory, Page will officially challenge Trick Williams for the NXT Championship at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024, which takes place on October 27th at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Damage CTRL NXT Return & More Set for Next Week’s NXT Show

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured the announcement of Damage CTRL making a return appearance and – new matches announced for next week’s show on October 22nd at the Performance Center.

In regards to Damage CTRL’s return, this was setup following a video promo segment involving Meta-Four’s Lash Legend & Jakkara Jackson calling out Kairi Sane & IYO SKY over their issues from Monday’s WWE RAW show. Jackson responded to Damage CTRL’s challenge on Twitter for a tag team match and accepted it for next week’s show.

In regards to the new matches, these new matches were all setup following promos, storyline angles, and match card graphics shown throughout the show.
