Fallon Henley Wins NXT Women’s North American Title

Sunday’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 event for WWE at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania featured Fallon Henley defeating Kelani Jordan in a Gauntlet match to become the new NXT Women’s North American Champion.

Henley’s victory was setup following Jordan being revealed that she would have to defend her title in a Gauntlet match against all of Fatal Influence following them picking that stipulation during the Kickoff pre-show.

During the match itself, Jordan managed to defeating Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne but was unable to complete the trifecta on Fatal Influence due to Nyx and Jayne interfering during her portion of the match against Henley leading to Henley winning the title.

Following the match, Fatal Influence’s victory celebration was interrupted by Zaria making her second surprise appearance of the night. Zaria proceeded to quickly lay out all of Fatal Influence in the ring.

Bully Ray Makes Appearance at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024

Sunday’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 event also featured WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray making a guest appearance.

Ray made an appearance as one of the panelists for WWE’s Countdown Kickoff show along with fellow Busted Open Radio member Dave LaGreca. During his appearance, Ray got into a verbal confrontation with Ridge Holland over Ray and LaGreca’s comments about Holland’s upcoming Ambulance match against Andre Chase on the event.

In a follow-up segment, Ray and LaGreca were seen again in the crowd talking about Tony D’Angelo’s victory over Oba Femi in a Tables, Ladders, & Scares match to retain his NXT North American title and also Giulia & Stephanie’s victory over Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez in a tag team match. Both Ray and LaGreca then talked about the person who showed up as a surprise at the end of the women’s tag team match and completely forgot what her name was, which was Zaria.

In another follow-up segment, Ray and LeGreca were seen once again in the crowd talking about Fallon Henley’s victory over Kelani Jordan to become the new NXT Women’s North American Champion and Zaria showing up right after to take out Fatal Influence. Ray and LeGreca then talked about Holland’s victory over Chase in an Ambulance match leading to Holland coming out to confront Ray again. This led to Ray warning him to not interrupt him again.

In another follow-up segment, Holland ran out and attacked Trick Williams following Williams victory over Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground match to retain his NXT Championship. After some angry words by Page, Page let Holland finish his attack on Williams only for Ray to run out from the crowd to save Williams. This led to a brawl breaking out that ended with Ray clearing the ring of Holland and Page and told him that he had already warned him before.

Gigi Dolin Makes Return Appearance at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024

Sunday’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 event also featured Gigi Dolin making her surprise on-screen return appearance.

At the start of the show, WWE aired an intro video for Halloween Havoc 2024 that was narrated by Dolin.

This was Dolin’s first appearance in WWE’s NXT brand since this past March due to a knee injury that was believed to be a torn ACL.

William Makes Surprise Return at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024, Regal to be Lexis King Cornerman for NXT Heritage Cup Title Match

Sunday’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 event also featured William Regal making a surprise return appearance.

During the show, Lexis King was seen backstage for an interview with Sarah Schreiber talking about his upcoming NXT Heritage Cup Championship match at this Tuesday’s NXT show. King talked about how he still has not found anyone to be his cornerman for his match. King stated that it is hard to change your perception and people still see him as his father but he is not like him. This led to Regal showing up and agreed to be King’s cornerman for his match against Regal’s son Charlie Dempsey. After some more words of encouragement by Regal, King thanked Regal for his help.

Zaria Makes Surprise Appearance at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024

Sunday’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 event also featured Zaria making a surprise appearance.

Following Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer’s victory over Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez in a tag team match on the show, their post-match victory celebration was cut short after the lights went off and a video played revealing Zaria. This led to Zaria showing up in the upper deck area looking down on Giulia & Vaquer in the ring.

In an interesting note, this was almost the exact same setup routine done at last week’s NXT show for Zaria’s official debut at the end of the show that was abruptly cut off by The CW in several markets due to timing related issues.

Lola Vice vs. Jaida Parker in a Special Guest Ref Hardcore Match Announced for Nov. 6th NXT Show

Sunday’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 event also featured one new match announced for the card of WWE’s NXT show on November 6th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This new match announced was a Special Guest Referee Hardcore match of Lola Vice vs. Jaida Parker. It was also announced that ECW legend Dawn Maria will be the special guest referee for this match.

This match was setup following a backstage interview segment involving NXT GM Ava talking about NXT’s upcoming show at the former ECW Arena.

Tatum Paxley vs. Wendy Choo in a Casket Match & Zaria In-Ring Debut Set for This Tuesday’s NXT Show

Sunday’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 event also featured two new matches announced for this week’s NXT show, which takes place on October 29th at the Performance Center.

The first new match announced was a Casket match of Tatum Paxley vs. Wendy Choo.

This match was setup following a ringside segment involving Vic Joseph, Booker T, Paxley, and Ava. During the show, Joseph and Booker T were at the stage arena running down the rules for the Devil’s Playground match for the NXT Championship. Joseph and Booker T walked around the stage pointing out all the possible spots where the match could end. This led to Paxley popping up of a travel case box spooking Booker T. This then led to NXT GM Ava coming out telling Paxley that she needed medical attention only for Paxley to demand a match against Choo for revenge for stuffing her in the box last week. Ava agreed which led to Paxley wanting to up the stake and spun the Halloween Havoc wheel revealing that it would be a Casket match.

The second new match announced was a singles match of Zaria vs. mystery opponent.
