WWE: Bo Dallas on Bray Wyatt Handpicked Wyatt Sicks Members, WWE Reportedly Targeting 2025 Date for Australia Return, RAW & SmackDown Runtime Plans for 2025 Update

Bo Dallas Comments on Bray Wyatt Had Handpicked All of the Wyatt Sicks Members

USA Today held a recent interview with Bo Dallas. One of the topics discussed included Dallas’ thoughts about his late brother Bray Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, ideas are the basis for everything involving his Wyatt Sicks stable in WWE.

“Everything that’s going on up to this date and then going forward, if it’s not Windham’s idea, it has a piece of Windham’s idea in it.”

Dallas also gave his thoughts about Wyatt had handpicked all of the members of the Wyatt Sicks group since they were all people he had wanted to work with in WWE.

“He wanted to work with them. He hand-picked them for reasons almost unknown to me. Like he just saw something and felt something in them.

When we were talking and going through all these ideas, a lot of times, he would just say, ‘you just be ready, man, you be ready. Maybe it was a foresight that he was given, I don’t know. But it just solidifies this is exactly what I’m supposed to be doing for him, because I know this is what he wants.

I feel the love from everybody watching this and that is a part of this, because it’s not just me, it’s everybody. Everybody’s in on this for Bray.”

Dallas also gave his thoughts about the recently released DLC pack for WWE 2K24 featuring a new version of The Fiend that was meant to be how Wyatt had intended for his return to WWE prior to his passing.

“The world gets the chance to see that even though he’s gone, his ideas and legacy are still going through.”


WWE Reportedly Targeting 2025 Date for Return Event to Australia

The West Australian reported that their sources stated that WWE has been in negotiations with the Cook government to hold a new event in Perth, Australia.

It was reported that WWE is currently targeting a 2025 date for this event and the government has been “tight-lipped” about the discussions.

In a statement to the outlet, Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti stated:

“We’re constantly pursuing these types of unique and exclusive events that attract visitors to our beautiful State, particularly ones that we know are incredibly popular like UFC and WWE.”


Update on WWE’s Plans for RAW & SmackDown Runtime Formats for 2025

As noted before, WWE’s SmackDown show is currently expected to expand into becoming a three-hour weekly show on USA Network starting in January of 2025. WWE’s RAW show is also currently expected to return to its three-hour format when the show moves to Netflix.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources within WWE stated that the current expectation is that RAW will return to “closer to” three hours for its weekly shows when it moves to Netflix. One source spoken to reportedly stated that they believe it will revert back to three hours while others stated that WWE will be more flexible and the length will be determined by what is needed for that specific week.

Johnson reported that those spoken to also confirmed that the first RAW show on Netflix will be in the Los Angeles area so that the company can accommodate as many Netflix executives as possible.

In regards to SmackDown’s runtime format plans for 2025, Johnson reported that those spoken to confirmed that there has been recent talk within WWE regarding SmackDown going to a longer time slot starting in January of 2025 and possibly expanding to three hours. Johnson reported that WWE officials want to do everything they can to bolster their longtime working relationship with NBC Universal going forward.
