WWE Bad Blood 2024 Notes: Bill Goldberg & More WWE Legends In Attendance, Triple H Unveils New Crown Jewel Championship & Champions to be Crowned at Crown Jewel 2024, Raquel Rodriguez, Jimmy Uso, & The Rock Makes Surprise Returns

Bill Goldberg, Booker T, Mickie James, DDP, Arn Anderson, Scott Steiner, & More In Attendance at WWE Bad Blood 2024

Saturday’s WWE Bad Blood 2024 event at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia featured several WWE Hall of Famers and WWE Legends being shown in attendance throughout the show.

The first to be shown was WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg seated with his son in the front row of the crowd prior to the start of the Hell in a Cell match.

Prior to the start of the WWE Women’s Championship match, WWE Hall of Famers Jacqueline and Booker T and former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia were seen in attendance.

In a follow-up segment, WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page and former WWE talent Mickie James were seen among those at Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi’s party in a VIP luxury box in the venue.

Prior to the start of the Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest match, WWE Hall of Famers, X-PAC, Tully Blanchard, and Arn Anderson were seen in attendance.

Prior to the start of the WWE Women’s World Championship match, WWE Hall of Famers DDP and Scott Steiner and former WWE wrestler Mickie James was seen in attendance.

Triple H Reveals New Crown Jewel Championships and Winners to be Crowned at WWE Crown Jewel 2024

Saturday’s WWE Bad Blood 2024 event also featured WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque officially debuting a new championship belt and the announcement of a Men’s and Women’s Champion vs. Champion matches at next month’s WWE Crown Jewel 2024 event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During the show, Levesque came out to the ring and talked about his past history in Atlanta in WCW. Levesque then announced that tonight’s Bad Blood event broke the all-time record for largest grossing event for a WWE arena event in WWE history.

Levesque then turned his attention towards next month’s Crown Jewel 2024 event and stated that this event will be historic since it will be the beginning of a new era in WWE. Levesque stated that the reigning WWE Champion will be facing off against the reigning World Champion for both the men and women at the show. Levesque then stated that neither title will be on the line for these matches but there will be a definitive winner. Levesque stated that winner will be crowd the 2024 Crown Jewel Champion and proceeded to unveil a new massive title belt. Levesque stated that this belt has fifty karats of diamonds and will signify the winner as the best of the best.

Raquel Rodriguez Makes Surprise Return at Saturday’s WWE Bad Blood 2024 Event

Saturday’s WWE Bad Blood 2024 event also featured Raquel Rodriguez making her surprise return from injury.

Near the end of the WWE Women’s World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio managed to unlock the door to the shark cage he was locked in that was above the rampway. After being afraid to actually leave because of his fear of heights, Mysterio ended up falling out of the cage but his foot got caught up causing him to dangle from it in the air. This led to Ripley noticing what happened and told the referee she has some unfinished business with Mysterio and will return to the match in a few as Morgan laid knocked out in the ring. Ripley proceeded to grab a kendo stick from under the ring and made her way towards Mysterio. Ripley then decided to play human pinata with Mysterio as the pinata and struck him with several kendo stick shots.

This led to a mystery person running out and attacked Ripley from behind. This mystery person was revealed to be Rodriguez making her surprise return. This led to the referee calling for the bell as Rodriguez grabbed Ripley and tossed her back into the ring. Following the match, Rodriguez hit a Tejana Bomb to Ripley and placed Morgan on top of Ripley for the symbolic pin. Rodriguez the proceeded to leave the ring with Morgan and carried her away and checked on Mysterio.

This was Rodriguez’s first appearance in WWE since this past February due to Mast cell activation syndrome health issues.

Jimmy Uso Makes Surprise Return & Reunited with Roman Reigns at WWE Bad Blood 2024

Saturday’s WWE Bad Blood 2024 event also featured Jimmy Uso making his surprise return from injury.

Near the end of the Bloodline’s tag team match with Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns, The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa ran out to interfere. This led to a mysterious hooded person running out from the crowd and attacked Tama and Loa at ringside. This person then removed their hood revealing himself to be Uso. This led to Solo Sikoa being distracted long enough for Reigns to hit a spear to Sikoa for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Uso got into the ring and asked Reigns to get up, which Roman did. This led to Uso and Reigns giving a big hug to each other and reuniting together for the first time in many months.

Uso and Reigns then looked upon Rhodes in the corner before leaving the ring together. As Uso and Reigns were making their way to the back, Tama and Loa attacked Rhodes from behind leading to Uso pleading with Reigns to help out Rhodes and Reigns eventually agreeing. This led to Uso and Reigns running back to the ring to save Rhodes and laid out Tama and Loa. Reigns then grabbed the WWE title and handed it back to Rhodes.

The Rock Makes Surprise Return at WWE Bad Blood 2024

Saturday’s WWE Bad Blood 2024 event also featured Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson making his surprise return to WWE.

Following Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns’ victory over The Bloodline, Jimmy Uso reunited with Reigns after helping him and Rhodes earlier. As Uso and Reigns left together and leaving Rhodes in the ring, The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa attacked Rhodes from behind resulting in Reigns and Uso eventually running back to save Rhodes and laid out Tama and Loa.

As Rhodes, Reigns, and Uso stood tall in the ring, The Rock’s music played interrupting the celebration and came out to the stage holding his People’s Champion belt. Rock looked on at Reigns in the ring and proceeded to raise his eyebrow and did the Bloodline’s one finger salute before ending it with a throat slash gesture before leaving.

This was The Rock’s first appearance in WWE since this past April.
