WWE Rejecting TNA’s Offer for AJ Styles to be Inducted Into TNA Hall of Fame Update – Styles Gives Reason for Turning Down Offer

As noted before, WWE turned down TNA’s request to induct AJ Styles into their Hall of Fame for this year’s class of inductees.

Styles provided an update earlier today on Twitter stating that he was the one who turned down the offer due to him not wanting to be inducted into any Hall of Fame while he is still an active wrestler.

“I’m still an active wrestler…I hope. I made the decision not to go into the TNA HOF, not WWE. I appreciate TNA, but I don’t want to go into any HOF as long as I’m still active. My choice.”

WWE Announces Return to MSG for Post-Christmas Holiday Live Event This December

WWE recently announced that they will be holding their annual post-Christmas holiday live event on December 26th at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

In a video that aired during Monday’s NBA game of the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks in New York City, Knicks star player Jalen Brunson officially announced WWE’s return to MSG this December.

This video was later aired during Monday’s WWE RAW show in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Netflix officials reportedly were at WWE’s headquarters building in Stamford, Connecticut throughout all of last week, according to the Wrestling Observer. Dave Meltzer reported that his sources stated that Netflix officials were working on promotional materials for WWE’s RAW move to their streaming service in January of 2025.

Deadline reported that Sony Pictures will be releasing a new Jumanji film, Jumanji 3, featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on December 11th in theaters.

Deadline also reported that Dave Bautista, also known as Batista in WWE, recently joined the cast for a new alien invasion comedy film titled The Alpha Gang. It was reported that filming is currently scheduled to begin in Spring of 2025.

Karrion Kross is currently scheduled to be releasing his new memoir, titled Life Is Fighting, on August 5, 2025.

WWE recently released a new vlog featuring Motor City Machine Guns visiting their headquarters following their WWE Tag Team Championship victory.

WWE also recently released one new video on their WWE Vault channel on YouTube. This new video was an “EVERY Dungeon of Doom vignette.”

WWE recently announced WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker will be holding three new 1 deadMan Shows on December 13-15 in Texas. It was announced that The Undertaker will be holding a new show on December 13th at The Factory Deep Ellum in Dallas, on December 14that the Houston Music Hall in Houston, and on December 15th at the Emo’s in Austin.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE officials currently do not have any plans for WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg to attend their Crown Jewel 2024 event this Saturday in Saudi Arabia.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, NXT talent Cora Jade gave her thoughts about how her recent ACL injury ended up being a blessing in disguise for her wrestling career. Jade stated “At that point (after tearing my ACL), it was almost like I was at rock bottom. Everything was already bad, so you could only go up from there. I had no choice in the matter. I’ve been going so hard and just nonstop since I started when I was 15, 16-years-old and I’ve never had a break. I wish it never happened, but in retrospect, I think it was good that I got the time to just sit back and breathe for a second. And just come back with a fresh start, fresh headspace. I’m as ready as I’ve ever been. I’m in the best shape physically and mentally that I’ve ever been in, so I’m excited. I think this is gonna be a very good run for me. And I think not only just me, but the NXT women’s division, I think we’re skyrocketing right now.” Jade also gave her thoughts about Shawn Michaels’ words of encouragement and how he assured her that she would still have a main event spot when she returned back from her injury. Jade stated “He (Shawn Michaels) has endless trust in the (women’s division). I remember when I got hurt. I was crying and I was apologizing to him and I remember (him saying), ‘Don’t say sorry. It’s not your fault.’ I’m just so thankful that he obviously gets it. Injuries happen. You have to take the time, get better. He gave me the time. He let me mentally, physically get better. And then as soon as I came back… he had the faith and the trust in me to throw me back in the main event picture.“
