JD Drake Makes Surprise Return on Friday’s AEW Rampage Show
Friday’s taped AEW Rampage show featured The WorkHorsemen’s JD Drake making his surprise return from injury.
During the show, BEEF was seen backstage with Renee Paquette for an interview segment. Paquette asked BEEF for an update on how his “second cousin by marriage” Anthony Henry is doing since his recent torn biceps injury. After some words by BEEF about Henry’s condition and his upcoming match against The Beast Mortos, Drake showed up to interrupt and gave some words of encouragement to BEEF. Drake stated that he will be out there for his match which led to BEEF being happy over having Drake be at his side.

In a follow-up segment, The Beast Mortos managed to defeat BEEF after some help by his fellow LFI members Dralistico and RUSH. Following the match, LFI attacked BEEF leading to Drake being conflicted over whether or not to help out BEEF. Before Drake was able to make up his mind, RUSH attacked him from behind and proceeded to choke him out with the cable cord.
