Julia Hart Shoulder Injury & AEW Return Status Update – Brody King Says Fans Should be Seeing Hart “Very Soon”
As noted before, Julia Hart has been out of action for AEW since this past April due to a shoulder-related injury and surgery to repair it.
Stephanie Chase held a recent interview with Brody King. One of the topics discussed included King providing an update on the recovery status of fellow House of Black member Hart’s shoulder injury.
“Yeah, I think we should be seeing her very soon. I mean, she’s been dropping hints here and there, but I think she’s ready to come back for her title.”
King also praised Hart for how good she is at such a young age in wrestling.
“I feel like — character-wise and personality-wise — she is so far advanced from her years in wrestling and her age. I mean, she’s only 22 years old. She’s got the whole world ahead of her, and she’s already got a big step up on it.”

Ricky Starks Comments on Future of His Wrestling Career & Current Health Status
As noted before, Ricky Starks has been out of action for AEW since this past March due to a head-injury scare incident and AEW officials not having any current creative plans for his return.
A recent virtual fan signing event for Highspots featured Starks as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Starks’ thoughts about the recent online comments about him potentially working elsewhere for his wrestling career.
“(Laughs) Honestly, that’s so sweet that people would say that to me (that they think I’ll end up working for someone else). I think it’s a compliment. A great thing to hear people care about me that much.”
Starks also gave his thoughts about him being currently healthy and capable of wrestling again but the decision for his potential return to AEW television is currently not up to him.
“No (I’m not out of action due to injury). I’m healthy, I’m of sound mind and body. I’m capable to wrestle. Just, you know, not up to me.
I get a lot of messages lately where people are like, ‘Hey, just checking in on you. Hope you’re doing well. Hope you’re mentally okay,’ and it’s so sweet. It means a lot to me because these people don’t know what’s going on, right?… But yeah, I get a lot of messages and every time I read ‘em, I tear up. Because people still — they care, you know? I love ‘em.
I wish I can give an answer (as to why I’m not on television). I’m healthy, I’m ready to get back in the ring. I am in shape obviously, always been in shape. Sometimes it just isn’t up to me, I guess, as they say. So, I love wrestling and I’m gonna figure out a way to do it one way or another. But, you know, I at least think I owe fans some type of explanation to the best of my ability, to the best of my knowledge so, some people don’t want to believe that. That’s fine. I don’t give a f*ck. But, yeah, I wish I had more (of) a definitive answer but sometimes, darkness is your only friend, when you’re definitely trying to find the light.”
