Tuesday’s AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday 2024 show also featured Will Ospreay officially leaving the Don Callis Family.

During the show, Ospreay came out to the ring for an interview with Tony Schiavone. Schiavone talked about Konosuke Takeshita interfering in Ospreay’s match last week against Ricochet and claimed that it has Callis’ fingerprints all over it. Ospreay responded in agreement and praised Ricochet before turning his attention towards Callis. Ospreay demanded Callis to come out since he wants answers from him.

This led to Callis coming out to the ring and stated that he has something important to say to Ospreay. Callis stated that last week was difficult for him emotionally since he hates to see Ospreay unhappy. After some banter between Callis trying to avoid answering Ospreay’s questions and Ospreay becoming more heated each time, Callis finally admitted that he was the one who sent out Takeshita last week. Callis stated that he made the call out of frustration and claimed Ospreay wouldn’t listen. Callis then stated that he had to show him who makes the decisions in the Family. Callis then talked about how they were close to winning the AEW Tag titles and failed to do so because Ospreay is mentally weak. Ospreay responded stating that he brought Callis the International title and had he not stick his nose in his business, he would have also been AEW World Champion.

Ospreay stated that Callis doesn’t know shit, which Callis responded back stating that he had the best wrestler in the world, refereeing to Kenny Omega, but threw him in the garbage for Ospreay. Callis stated that maybe he should throw the best in the trash one more time. This led to Ospreay responding back stating that Callis is everything everyone warned him about and called him utter scum and they are done as a pairing.

This led to Callis slapping Ospreay over what he said leading to Ospreay shoving Callis to the ground. Before Ospreay was able to do anything else, Takeshita ran out and attacked him leading to a brawl between the two. Kyle Fletcher ran out and tried to talk some sense into Ospreay but this led to Ospreay being distracted long enough for Takeshita to lay him out. Callis then handed a screwdriver for Fletcher to use on Ospreay, which Fletcher refused and stormed out of the ring after being confronted by Takeshita. This led to Callis picking up Ospreay for Takeshita, who laid him out again with a big forearm strike. This then led to Ricochet running out to save Ospreay and Takeshita & Callis bailing from the ring. Ricochet then grabbed the AEW International title and held it up before handing it to Ospreay.
