AEW Collision Notes: Hangman Page vs. Jay White Set for Full Gear 2024, Orange Cassidy & Page Appearances Set for 10/30 Fright Night Dynamite, Wheeler Yuta Explains Danielson Attack, New Matches for 11/2 Collision

Hangman Page vs. Jay White Announced for at AEW Full Gear 2024

Saturday’s AEW Collision show in Cedar Rapids, Iowa featured one new match announced for the card of AEW’s Full Gear 2024 event, which takes place on November 23rd at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

This new match announced was a singles match of Hangman Adam Page vs. Jay White.

This new match was setup following a post-match promo by White after his victory over Shane Taylor. White talked about his issues and Bang Bang Gang’s issues with Page of late and proceeded to issue a challenge for a match between the two at next month’s Full Gear 2024 event. Later in the show, it was announced that this match was made official for Full Gear.

  • MJF vs. Roderick Strong or Adam Cole
  • Hangman Adam Page vs. Jay White

Orange Cassidy & Hangman Adam Page Appearances Announced for AEW Fright Night Dynamite Show

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured two new segments for the card of next week’s AEW Fright Night Dynamite show, which takes place on October 30th at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

The first new segment announced was Orange Cassidy making an appearance and responding to the actions of Blackpool Combat Club’s attack on his best friend Chuck Taylor on the October 23rd AEW Dynamite show.

The second new segment announced was a promo segment featuring Hangman Adam Page. This segment was setup following the announcement of Jay White’s challenge to Page for a match at Full Gear 2024 being made official and Page to appear on next week’s Dynamite show to respond about the match.

Wheeler Yuta Explains His Reason for Attack on Bryan Danielson at WrestleDream 2024

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured Wheeler Yuta explaining his reasons for turning on Bryan Danielson and attacking Danielson at AEW’s WrestleDream 2024 event earlier this month.

During the show, a video aired featuring Nigel McGuinness holding a sit-down interview with Yuta. McGuinness talked about Yuta crossing the line over his actions and attack on Danielson that he claimed caused lasting damages to Danielson’s well-being. Yuta responded mocking McGuinness for being able to do what he was not able to do and that was actually ending Danielson’s career. After some banter between the two, Yuta stated that everything they have done is for the greater good and proceeded to walk away.


Two New Matches Announced for Next Week’s AEW Collision Show

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured two new matches announced for the card of next week’s Collision show on November 2nd at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The first new match announced was a Dia de Los Muertos match of Thunder Rosa vs. Harley Cameron.

This match was setup following a backstage promo segment involving Cameron and Rosa both wearing face paint and Rosa saying she will teach Harley a lesson on what wearing the paint really means on Dia de Los Muertos.

The second new match announced was a singles match of Kyle Fletcher vs. Komander.
