Penelope Ford Explains Reason for Her Recent Attack on Jamie Hayter

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show in Stockton, California featured Penelope Ford making a surprise appearance and explaining her reasons for her recent attack on Jamie Hayter at Dynamite’s Title Tuesday 2024 show earlier this month.

Following Hayter’s victory over Brooke Havok, Hayter’s victory celebration was cut short by Ford’s voice and her showing up on the big screen. Ford proceeded to talk about her recent surprise return and attack on Hayter. Ford stated that the reason why she targeted Hayter is due to she was out for two years and blamed Hayter for it due to her last match was with her. Ford then stated that she promised to take everything away from Hayter as revenge.


Kamille vs. Kris Statlander Announced for Fright Night Dynamite Show

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured one new match announced for the card of AEW Fright Night Dynamite show, which takes place on October 30th at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

This new match announced was a singles match of Kamille vs. Kris Statlander.

This match was setup following a post-match promo segment involving Statlander calling out Kamille on Collision and challenging her to a match to see who really is the strongest woman in AEW.

Anna Jay Defeats Mariah May to Earn Shot at AEW Women’s Title for November 2nd Collision Show

Saturday’s taped AEW Battle of the Belts XII show featured Anna Jay defeating “The Glamour” Mariah May in an Eliminator match for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

As a result of her victory, Jay officially earned a shot at the AEW Women’s World title that was announced to be taking place on the November 2nd Collision show at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.


Sammy Guevara Return & Two New Matches Announced for Next Week’s Dynamite Show

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured the announcement of Sammy Guevara making his official return from injury, two new matches, and one new segment for the card of next week’s AEW Dynamite show, which takes place on October 23rd at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

In regards to the new match, the first new match announced was a Trios match of House of Black vs. mystery opponents.

The second new match announced was a singles match of Sammy Guevara vs. Shelton Benjamin. This match was setup following a video airing hyping up Guevara’s in-ring return from a concussion injury for next week’s show.

In regards to the new segment, this was announced to be a promo segment featuring Kyle Fletcher. This segment was setup following Fletcher giving a post-match promo after his victory over Atlantis Jr. and stated that he will give his answer why he betrayed Will Ospreay on next week’s Dynamite show.
