Thursday’s NFL game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks in Seattle, Washington featured Darby Allin and Aubrey Edwards among those in attendance.

AEW recently released a new AEW Timelines video featuring the history of Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley in AEW and Blackpool Combat Club’s breakup.

Kamille filed a new trademark for “Not Approachable” on October 7th for wrestling and merchandise-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

In a recent interview with Yahoo Sports’ The Uncrowned, Bryan Danielson revealed that he was dealing with loss of strength and feeling in his legs during his AEW Continental and AEW World Championships match against Kazuchika Okada at AEW’s Dynamite 5 Year Anniversary Show. Danielson stated “Midway through the match, I started losing strength in my legs. There’s a point later in the match where I’m trying to kick him and I can’t turn over my kicks. That’s something that I have the body mechanics to do because I have been doing it for so long, but here I am and I can’t turn my hip over for this kick. When I got to the back, I went to the trainer right away and they worked on me for like 30 minutes. They said it was stemming from the neck stuff. It’s getting to a point where, physically, we’re seeing the signs. I haven’t been sleeping well because I have been having this shooting pain down my arm.

In a recent interview with The Ringer’s The Masked Man Show podcast, Will Ospreay gave his thoughts about his working relationship with AEW CEO Tony Khan. Ospreay stated “He’s super friendly, super nice. I talk to him all the time. He tells me what’s bad, he tells me what’s good. I think I might be one of the only wrestlers he’s ever said ‘no’ to. I quite like that.” In response to a question about what Khan had told him no to, Ospreay responded stating “That’s a little trade secret.” Ospreay continued talking about his relationship to Khan stating “I do really like him. I do think he has a heart of gold. What he’s done for the industry is incredible. I would have never been an American wrestler without him. I would have stuck with Japan for the rest of my life because I would have never thought this was possible when it came to coming over to America to wrestle, you’d have to move here. As much as I do enjoy coming over and doing my visits, my home is the UK. I want to be around my family. That was never going to to happen without AEW. AEW has come along and now that I’m on weekly television, which I never thought was going to be possible, and my residence is still in the United Kingdom.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

In a recent interview with the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Swerve Strickland gave his thoughts about his upcoming return to AEW at this Saturday’s WrestleDream 2024 event in his hometown of Tacoma, Washington. Strickland stated “There’s a lot in the past I can address. The last time ya’ll saw me, I was knocked completely out by Hangman Page in a cage match. Got a lot of people talking for a whole month. I wasn’t even on camera. There’s a lot I can address there. There’s a lot I can address with the current. There is a lot I can address with the future. That’s the beauty about my presence on this show, especially my hometown and the city where I was born. There is a lot I can go into. Maybe the people are so enthralled and emotionally connected to me that I don’t even have to say much, I let the people say it. Maybe there’s that. Maybe there are things I have to say to Nana because there are a lot of business things that went awry with my presence being gone. No championship. Lost the main event of All Out, back-to-back. There are positives out there, the contract. I’m going to be signed for a long time. There are things to address there. My health condition. I haven’t been cleared for a month now. There are things to address there. There are a lot of things I have on my mind that I can express and go a bunch of different ways. This isn’t a talking segment. This is me really conveying new news with me personally, my businesses outside of this. The Mogul is not just a name I gave myself. It truly is what I am and who I am.” Strickland also gave his thoughts about what fans can expect from him at WrestleDream. Strickland stated “You can always expect the next evolution of me with the subtleties. Maybe my hair is different. Maybe my look is different. Something is different. You’ll feel something different in the air. That’s something I always love bringing to the table. You don’t know what to expect, and that’s the beauty of it and the beauty of who I am and what I offer. Even Tony Khan doesn’t know what to expect. He just goes, ‘Show up to work and here is what you got.’ He trusts and he knows I can make it happen. That’s the imprint I have on the show right now. I love it and I worked really hard to gain that. I was patient, I took a long time, and I didn’t rush into it. Let’s see how the landscape takes course and I will find my way and adapt into that. Now, people are anticipating a return of who I am, what I have to bring and what’s different, what’s new, and what old things I’m going to address.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

In a recent interview with the Busted Open Radio podcast, Chris Jericho stated that he is currently heading into a contract year for his career. Jericho stated “I’m about ready to go into my biggest contract year ever. That’s one of the things I laugh about when people are like, ‘Jericho just has to be on TV.’ I don’t have to do anything. My boss puts me on TV because he pays me money to be there. To know that much money is at stake 25 years after the Attitude Era, it blows my mind. This is a great time for the business and fans to be in it. Live sports is the last bastion of advertising. With all the streaming, nobody is watching commercials anymore. The only commercials are NFL, NHL, NBA, AEW, WWE, live sports. That’s why it’s worth that much money. For people going, ‘Oh, they’re overpaying.’ It’s what they have left to make money. When WWE goes to Netflix, suddenly that changes the game as well. It’s an interesting time for the television business, the wrestling business, and live sports and advertising.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

In a separate recent interview with ComicBook.com, Chris Jericho gave his thoughts about him not being currently interested in a future return to WWE and enjoying working for the Khan family and AEW. Jericho stated “I enjoyed working there in the past and I can probably work there in the future as well. We’ll see. To me, business is business but I enjoy working with AEW, I enjoy all that we’ve accomplished since day one, especially now with the new TV deal. We did what we set out to do which was to change the course of wrestling history — Tony and I and all of us have done that. It’s a pretty cool fuck you to anyone that didn’t think we could do it. Now seeing this television deal and the amount of money we got for it, we’re on our way man and we’re not going anywhere. There’s really no reason for me to go anywhere else right now, I enjoy working for the Khan family and I enjoy working for AEW. I’m happy.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
