Adam Cole vs. Buddy Matthews, Private Party vs. Young Bucks for AEW Tag Titles Matches Set for AEW Fright Night Dynamite

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Salt Lake City, Utah featured two new matches announced for the card of next week’s AEW Fright Night Dynamite show, which takes place on October 30th at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

The first new match announced was a singles match of Adam Cole vs. Buddy Matthews.

This match was setup following Matthews issuing a challenge to Cole for next week’s show. Following House of Black’s Trios match victory over a team of local talents, Matthews grabbed a microphone and stated that since Cole is medically cleared, he challenged him to a match for next week’s show. This match was later confirmed for next week’s show.

The second new match announced was an AEW World Tag Team Championship match of Private Party (Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy) vs. The Young Bucks (Mathew & Nicholas Jackson) (c).

This match was setup following Daniel Garcia & Private Party’s victory over The Elite in a Trios match in the main event of the show. Following the match, Kassidy grabbed a microphone and issued a challenge to the Young Bucks for their AEW Tag titles for next week’s show, which the Young Bucks refused at first. As the Young Bucks were leaving to the back, Kassidy stated that he had an offer to make and it is something that the Young Bucks wouldn’t turn down. Kassidy revealed that this was the stipulation of if Private Party lost, then they would disband as a team. This was enough of an enticement for the Young Bucks to accept the challenge for next week’s show. Following the show, this match was made official for next week’s Fright Night Dynamite show.
