Bayley vs. Nia Jax for WWE Women’s Title Announced for WWE Bad Blood 2024

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma featured Bayley defeating Naomi in a #1 Contender’s match for the WWE Women’s Championship.

As a result of her victory, Bayley will officially challenge Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s title at WWE Bad Blood 2024, which takes place on October 5th at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

AJ Styles Return Announced for Next Week’s WWE SmackDown Show

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured the official announcement of AJ Styles making his return to WWE’s SmackDown brand at next week’s show on October 4th in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill Announced as Official Hosts of WWE Bad Blood 2024

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured the announcement of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will be the official hosts of next month’s WWE Bad Blood 2024 event in Atlanta.

During the show, a video aired featuring Belair and Cargill talking about Bad Blood 2024 and revealed that they will be the official hosts of the event. Belair and Cargill also stated that they will be having several special guests on the show.

In regards to the new match, this was announced to be a WWE Tag Team Championship Ladder match of DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs. The Bloodline (Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) (c).

In regards to the new segment, this was announced to be AJ Styles making his return to the SmackDown brand.
