Wren Sinclair vs. Kelani Jordan (c)

They lock up and Jordan with a side head lock take down and Wren with a head scissors.  Jordan slaps Wren and Wren with a side head lock and shoulder tackle.  Jordan rolls through and tries for a Tiger Feint Arm Drag but Wren blocks it.  Jordan with a side head lock and take down.  Wren backs Jordan into the corner and Jordan with a Irish whip but Wren floats over and she connects with a shoulder tackle and a leaping bulldog for a near fall.  Wren with a top wrist lock.  Jordan with a drop toe hold but Wren with a rollup for a near fall.  Wren with more near falls.  Wren with a crucifix for a near fall.  Jordan with a Tiger Feint arm drag and Wren goes to the floor.  Jordan with a twisting pescado onto Wren.

Jordan with a reverse chin lock and a step over leg drop for a near fall.  Wren sends Jordan face first into the mat.  Wren works on the back.  Wren gets a near fall and she applies a waist lock.  Wren with a rollup for a near fall.  She gets another near fall with a bridge.  Wren with forearms to the midsection and lower back.  Jodan with a rollup for a near fall.  Wren with forearms to the back and she sets for a hammer lock move but Jordan with a back body drop.  Jordan sets for a Playmaker but Wren escapes and hits a Finlay Slam for a near fall.  Wren with a Koji Clutch into a head scissors.  Jordan with a rollup for a near fall.

Jordan goes for an abdominal stretch but Wren counters into one of her own.  Jordan with a hip toss and running forearms.  Jordan with a cartwheel into a back elbow.  Jordan with a sit out DDT for a near fall.  Jordan is sent to the apron but Jordan with a forearm and a slingshot side kick.  Wren grabs the leg to keep Jordan from going up top.  Jordan kicks Wren and misses a double stomp and rolls through.  Wren with an uppercut and she goes for a gutwrench suplex and hits it.  Wren signals that it is over and she hits a butterfly suplex.  Wren has a full nelson blocked and Jordan with an O’Connor Roll.  Jordan is kicked to the floor on the kick out by Wren.

Jordan is distracted by Tavion and Myles.  Wren with a cross body onto Tavion and Myles.  Jordan with a step over side kick and she goes up top for the split legged moonsault for the three count.

Winner: Kelani Jordan via Pinfall to retain the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

After the match, Tavion tries to pep up Wren after the loss.

Backstage: “All Ego” Ethan Page

We go to Sarah at the press conference and Ethan Page is the first person.

He is asked if there is pressure being champion.  He says he has wanted to be the face of a company and carry it on his back and that is what he is doing.  What separates him from everyone else is how he handles himself.

He is asked what does Trick do well in the ring.  He says Trick is a former champion and he is resilllient but it won’t help him win the title.

Ethan is asked about CM Punk’s impact as guest referee.  Page says Punk won’t be a factor.

Page says he is going to give some time to CM Punk to make sure he is a non-factor.


Backstage: CM Punk, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams

We are back with Je’Von Evans and CM Punk in LOCKER ROOM and Trick Williams shows up.

Trick thanks Punk for stepping up last week.  Trick says things have been going crazy for a while.  Ethan Page will try to do anything to keep the title and he ain’t letting him do that.  

Punk says he is proud of what Trick has done.  He says he won’t let either man cheat and he will make sure the best man wins the match.  He says he hopes Trick wins, but he won’t lean that way.  At the end of the night, if Ethan is the better man, he will raise his hand.


In-Ring: A-Town Down Under, Axiom, Nathan Frazer

Waller welcomes everyone.  He says they brought out the big guns for the last night on USA.  Theory says everyone is looking at the greatest graduates in NXT history.  

Waller talks about what they have accomplished and then they talk about the men they will face in two weeks, Axiom and Nathan Frazer.

Waller welcomes them for coming and for dressing up for the occasion.  Waller says they have been on Smackdown for a while and he says they would be excellent additions to Smackdown . . . as individual competitors because the tag team isn’t working.

Frazer asks if Waller is talking about him and Theory because they are fine.  He says they can’t wait to see who back stabs the other.

Theory says they are solid and they run things.    Waller says when they win in two weeks, Frazer and Axiom are done.  He says that is a good thing because they are better as singles wrestlers.  Theory talks about Frazer doing the flippity doo da.  

Axiom brings up that they became the grim reapers of the NXT Tag division.  Frazer says in two weeks, in St. Louis, they are going to send them six feet under.

Theory says that sounded smooth but he says every Friday, it doesn’t matter who they face because they put them down.  You are impressive but there are levels to this game.

Waller says there are levels to this game and you move a million miles an hour.  Waller says they have been performing under the brightest lights on the biggest stage.  They will give them the rub in two weeks, but they will also be taking the titles.

Frazer asks Waller why is it the Grayson Waller Effect.  Shouldn’t it be Waller and Theory?

Theory gets up and says that is a good idea.

Waller says it was called that before they were a team and then he attacks Frazer and Theory goes after Axiom.


Video: Meta-Four, Lexis King

Lash, Jakara, and Oro are in LOUNGE and Lexis King shows up and he says he could have blindsided Oro but he doesn’t want to do that.  He says it is more than anger for Oro.  It is the deep seated trauma with his father.  King says he knows what it is like to go through life without someone to lean on and that is why you use violence.  He says Oro didn’t have a great relationship with his father.  He says may the best man win tonight.

Oro and King shake hands and Oro tells him to make sure he makes his dad proud.


Backstage: Hank Walker, Tank Ledger

Hank and Tank walk in the back and talk about what Karl and Luke have won in wrestling but the respect was gone after they cost them the titles.  Tank says revenge is on their mind.


Backstage: Brinley Reece, Karmen Petrovic, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, Tatum Paxley

Karmen and Brinley are talking about stuff and Ashante Thee Adonis enters with a rose. 

Ashante tells Brinley she wasn’t getting the rose.  Adonis tells Tatum that she doesn’t scare him but excites him.  He says miracles don’t happen twice as he leaves.

Karl says there are opportunities and they are going to get a piece of the pie.


Hank Walker & Tank Ledger vs. The O.C. (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson)

All four men start off with punches.  LUke with an Irish whip to Hank and a hip in the corner.  Luke with a clothesline and Karl tags in and they kick Hank in the corner.  Luke tags in and Karl with a punch and an Irish whip.  Karl runs into a boot and Luke misses a shoulder in the corner.  Tank tags in and he hits a forearm and then they hit a Malachi Crunch for a near fall.  Tank with punches.  Luke blocks a suplex and Tank punches Karl.  Luke with a round kick and Karl tags in and knocks Hank off the apron.  Karl with European uppercuts to Tank and he sends him into the turnbuckles.  Tank is sent sternum first into the turnbuckles.  Karl with punches and he sends Tank into the turnbuckles.  Luke tags in and he kicks Tank and follows with a snap mare into a reverse chin lock.  

Luke with a knee followed by an Irish whip and splash.  Hank absorbs the impact of the Irish whip and Tank with a clothesline and both men are down.  Hank and Karl tag in and Hank with punches and forearms.  Hank sends Karl into the corner and he throws some peek a boo uppercuts.  Hank with a splash to Karl followed by a Boss Man slam for a near fall.  Hank goes up top and Luke tries to interfere.  Karl with a flying kick into the corner followed by a superplex.  Karl with a spinebuster to Tank onto Hank for a near fall.  Tank trips Karl on the flying boot and Luke misses a clothesline.  Tank tags in and Hank and they hit the power slam and cross body combination for the three count.

Winner: Hank Walker & Tank Ledger via Pinfall.


Backstage: Je’Von Evans, Cedric Alexander, A-Town Down Under

Cedric is in the back with Je’Von and they talk about Randy Orton.  He says it is the biggest match of his career.

Austin and Waller show up and they talk about Je’Von and how he is the fastest rising star, but Cedric won’t help him.

Cedric says Je’Von has a better chance against Randy than they do against the tag champs.

Je’Von challenges them to a match and he jokes that Kevin Owens is behind Waller and Theory to make them flinch.


Lexis King vs. Oro Mensah

They shake hands before locking up.  King with a cravate and King with shoulder tackles.  King iwth an arm wringer but Oro with a kick and chops.  King with a kick and chop..  Oro with a head scissors and an exploder slam for a near fall.  Oro has a kick blocked and King chops Oro.  

We see Ava at PRESS CONFERENCE but we cannot hear what she is saying.  

King sends Oro to the floor.  Oro with an inside cradle for a near fall.  King with a slam and a kick to the back.  King with another kick to the back.  Oro with a kick to the head but King with a chop and thrust kick for a near fall.  King with a back breaker and he stretches Oro over his knee.  Oro with elbows but King with chops.  Oro with chops.  Oro with a jumping punch and a quebrada.  Oro sends King into the turnbuckles many time.  Oro with a rolling kick for a near fall.  King with a punch and double leg take down and he uses the ropes for leverage but he comes off the ropes to be honorable.  Oro with a double leg take down and he has his feet on the ropes for the three count.

Winner: Oro Mensah via Pinfall.

We go to RUN DOWN GYM for Tony D’Angelo to prepare for Oba Femi as we go full Rocky III.

We see Tony back at PERFORMANCE CENTER for some sparing and he gets his bell rung.  Tony gets a second chance and he takes care of his opponent with a punch to the ding ding (trademark Steve Corino).

Tony says it is time for the contract signing.

Tony D’Angelo faces Oba Femi for the North American Title in St. Louis.


Riley Osborne vs. Ridge Holland

Riley with a flip dive onto Ridge before the bell rings.  

The match starts and Riley sends Ridge into the ring post.  Riley with a senton off the top turnbuckle for a near fall.  Riley avoids a clothesline but Ridge does not miss the second one.  Ridge with an arm trapped overhead belly-to-belly suplex.  Ridge wit knees to Riley.  Riley chops Ridge and Ridge with a head butt.  Riley with a thrust kick and drop kick to send Ridge into the turnbuckles.  Riley with a rollup for a near fall.  Riley with a clothesline into the corer and he sets for a bulldog and hits it.  Riley with a twisting moonsault for a near fall.  Riley with forearms to Ridge.  Ridge with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex that sends Riley over the top rope to the floor.

Ridge goes to the floor and he tries to send Riley into the ringside barrier but Riley reverses it and Ridge goes into the flimsily constructed barrier.  Riley with a round kick from the apron and he goes up top.  Riley goes for a shooting star press but he lands on his feet when Ridge gets his feet up.  Ridge with Redeemer for the three count.

Winner: Ridge Holland via Pinfall.

After the match, Ridge attacks Riley but Riley fights back.  Ridge sends Riley into the ring steps.  Riley tosses the ringside barrier that broke off at Ridge and then Thea yells at Ridge.  Riley with a clothesline off the ring steps.

We see The Miz suggests that Oba and Tony sign their contract on MizTV.


Backstage: Oba Femi

Oba Femi is at the Press Conference and he is asked about appearing on MizTV and he has no comment.  He is asked about the training video and he says that Tony is fooling everyone but he can see through him.  

Oba says he is done with questions.


Backstage: Wes Lee, Zachary Wentz

We go to SPLIT SCREEN for Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz to talk about their Street Fight next week …

Vic shows footage of what happened during the break.

We hear Wentz using some salty language with Wes and Wes asks about Trey.  Wentz wonders why they have to be in separate rooms.  Wes says it is to protect Wentz.  They talk about what they have done iin the past and Wes tell Wentz to make sure Gigi doesn’t watch.  Wentz tells Wes to keep his fiancee’s name out of his mouth.

Wes tells Wentz to come where he is.

Wes leaves and he is confronted by Wentz and they fight despite security’s best efforts to do something.

Backstage: Ava, Lola Vice, Jaida Parker

Ava is with Lola Vice and Jaida Parker is in OFFICE too.

Ava says they both have a problem with Fatal Influence so they will both get their hands on them next week, in a tag match.

Jaida and Lola talk over each other.

Ava tells them both to work it out next week and she will see them in Chicago.


Wendy Choo & Rosemary vs. Brinley Reece & Karmen Petrovic

Reece and Choo start things off and Choo pushes Reece into the corner and Wendy crawls into the corner and Reece with an arm drag into an arm bar.  Karmen tags in and she kicks Choo and hits a jumping thrust kick and gets a near fall.  Karmen with an arm bar.  Rosemary tags in and they go for a double suplex but Karmen lands on her feet and she kicks Rosemary and Choo.  Reece tags in and she clotheslines Rosemary for a near fall.

We see Kelani Jordan on SPLIT SCREEN at PRESS CONFERENCE.

Choo hits Reece from behind and Rosemary with a sliding forearm.  Choo gets a near fall.  Wendy with a cartwheel into a splash in the corner.  Rosemary tags in and she applies a modified tarantula.  Rosemary with a front face lock and then she swings at Karmen and misses.  Choo tags in and they hit a double suplex for a near fall.  Reece with a boot to Choo and an elbow to Rosemary on the apron.  Reece with punches and a round off clothesline.

Both women are down and . . . 

Ashante Thee Adonis makes his way to ringside and he gives a rose to a fan.

Karmen has some words for Adonis and Rosmeary with As Above So Below for the three count.

Backstage: CM Punk, Sol Ruca, “All Ego” Ethan Page

Ethan Page tells CM Punk he does not appreciate him getting involved in his match and he has seen Punk as a referee and he does not need to deal with Punk’s drama.

Punk says he won’t let anything happen in Chicago.  He says he won’t let either man cheat in Chicago.  Punk says if Ethan is the man, he can prove it in Chicago.  If you are not the guy, he won’t raise his hand.


Backstage: Fatal Influence

We are back and Fatal Influence are at PRESS CONFERENCE.  They are asked who will face Jaida and Lola next week and Fallon says they know who it will be but they won’t tell who it is.  Jazmyn says they are confident about their match next week.  They are asked what is next for them.  Jacy says NXT has the best women’s division and they will be on top.  They will win championships.  She says Kelani doesn’t deserve to be champion.

Lola and Jaida interrupt the press conference and have to be held back.


Cedric Alexander & Je’Von Evans vs. A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller)

Waller sends Cedric into the ringside barrier while Theory sends Evans into the corner and connects with shoulders.  Waller punches Evans and sends him into the turnbuckles.  Waller sends Evans into the turnbuckles.  Evans chops Theory and he misses a punch on Waller.  Theory with a rollup for a near fall.  Evans with a head scissors to Waller followed by a drop kick.  Waller with a punch to Evans and Theory tags in.  Theory runs into a boot and Evans floats over Waller.  Cedric pulls Waller to the floor and he sends Waller into the ringside barrier.  Evans with a sunset flip to Theory for a near fall.  Theory with a punch and snap mare followed by a kick to the back.

Theory with a reverse chin lock.  Evans with punches to get out of the hold but Theory returns to the front face lock.  Evans with an inside cradle for a near fall.  Theory with punches to Evans.  Evans with an Irish whip and forearm in the corner.  Cedric tags in and Evans with an Asai DDT and Cedric follows with a kick for a near fall.  Theory with chops to Cedric and Waller tags in and punches Cedric.  Cedri with a forearm and a DDT that sends Waller to the floor.  Theory gingerly goes over the top rope to the floor.  Evans with a flip dive and Waller catches Evans.  Cedric with a flip dive of his own.

Cedric with a trailer hitch and Waller gets to the ropes to force a break.  Cedric and Waller miss chops.  Waller sends Cedric to the apron and Cedric kicks Theory on the apron but Waller knocks Cedric to the floor.  Waller sends Cedric into the announce table.  Theory tags in and Waller with a rear chin lock.  Cedric with elbows and Theory pulls Cedric to the mat and returns to the reverse chin lock.  Cedric with punches and Theory with an Irish whip.  Theory with a back breaker for a near fall.  Theory with a kick and Waller tags in.  Waller with a cravate.  Waller with knees to the head.  Cedric blocks a suplex and gets a near fall with an inside cradle.

Waller with a side kick and he goes to the ropes for a springboard elbow drop and connects for a near fall.  Waller misses a clothesline and vans tags in and so does Theory.  Evans with punches to everyone.  Evans with a thrust kick to Theory and a suicide dive with Evans landing on the announce table more than Waller.  Evans with another suicide dive onto Theory.  Waller breaks up the cover.  Waller tags in and he applies a sleeper and they hit a double rolling elbow on Evans for a near fall when Cedric breaks up the coer.  Alexander with a spear onto the apron but Waller with a slingshot clothesline and he sends Cedric into the ring steps.

Waller punches Evans and Nathan Frazer and Axiom come out and Theory knocks them down.  Evans with a springboard round kick and Evans goes up top.  Axiom pulls Frazer off the apron and Evans slips on the ropes.  Theory tags in and hits A Town Down for the three count.

Winner: A-Town Down Under via Pinfall.

After the match, Frazer and Axiom argue and push each other.


Backstage: Trick Williams

Trick Williams is at PRESS CONFERENCE.

He says all of the NXT greats, but only a handful have won the title, and fewer have won it multiple times.  He wants to do that.  He says he needs to be the leader of NXT as they move forward.  He will do everything in his power to make it happen.  Trick says he is good with Punk and he will deal with Page.  He says he will have to do what he has to do.  He will learn from Pete Dunne.  He says he has to be confident and control his emotions.  He says he has to be Trick Williams.  If that happens you will have a new World Champion.


In-Ring: Byron Saxton, Roxanne Perez, Giulia, Funaki, Stephanie Vaquer

Byron Saxton is in the ring with Giulia, Funaki, and Roxanne Perez.

The first question is if Giulia is impressed or intimidated by Roxanne’s title reign.

Roxanne interrupts and she wonders why people think Giulia is going to win.

Giulia speaks in Japanese while Funaki takes notes in his role as translator.

Roxanne looks like her eyes are glazing over at the length of her answer.

Funaki says that Roxanne has shown that she is the prodigy but Giulia’s time has come.  She came Roxanne carry the brand at age 20.  Giulia says she came to NXT to become women’s champion.  She says she created her opportunities and she will show that it is a new era and it is time for Roxanne to pass the torch to her.

Roxanne is asked if she has faced anyone with the hype of Giulia and that she can back it up.

Roxanne says she was a Giulia fan before any of you were fans.  She says she has seen every match she has had in Japan.  She would wonder if their paths would ever cross.  This is a dream match . . . for Giulia.  She is so excited for this because she has never stepped in the ring with anyone who has the equity that Roxanne has.  Roxanne says she is the reason why Giulia came to NXT.  She does not care what titles Giulia has won and this is the only title that matters.

NXT is entering a whole new realm and the person who built this brand from the ground up deserves to be the one on top.

Giulia asks Roxanne if she thought about what will happen when she beats Roxanne.

Roxanne says she is not going to lose.

Giulia asks if she is overconfident going into the match next week.

Giulia says she feels good.  Moving to America has been incredible.  Everything is new and she says what is not new is that she is the most feared wrestler in the world.  NXT will feel the Beautiful Madness.

A voice interrupts Giulia.

Stephanie Vaquer asks what will you do when she is waiting on the other side of the match.
