Final WWE NXT Show of USA Network Era
Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida was notable for being the final NXT show on USA Network due to WWE’s television deal with the network for their NXT brand expiring this week.
Next week’s NXT show on October 1st will be NXT’s official preimere show on The CW network.
USA Network had been television home for WWE’s NXT brand since September of 2019.
NXT North American Title Match Announced for October 8th NXT Show
Tuesday’s NXT show also featured one new match announced for the card of NXT’s October 8th show at The Factory At The District in Chesterfield, Missouri.
This new match announced was a NXT North American Championship match of Tony D’Angelo vs. Oba Femi (c).
This match was initially setup in recent weeks shows over D’Angelo’s bad blood issues with Femi and D’Angelo being concerned he can’t beat Femi. During tonight’s show, a training montage aired featuring D’Angelo training and building up the courage to face Femi. D’Angelo thanked the Family for their help and stated he was confident enough to face Femi in two weeks.

In a follow-up segment, it was confirmed that this match will be taking place on the October 8th show.

WWE Airs NXT on USA Network Tribute Video on Tuesday’s NXT Show
Tuesday’s NXT show also featured WWE airing a tribute video featuring many notable moments and highlights from NXT’s tenure on USA Network and WWE thanking USA Network for being NXT’s home over the past five years.

Lola Vice & Jaida Parker vs. Fatal Influence Tag Match & Miz TV with Oba Femi and Tony D’Angelo Segment Announced for October 1st NXT Show
Tuesday’s NXT show also featured one new match and one updated segment announced for the card of next week’s show on October 1st at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
In regards to the new match, this new match announced was a tag team match of Lola Vice & Jaida Parker vs. Fatal Influence (Jazmyn Nyx, Fallon Henley, and/or Jacy Jayne).
This match was initially setup in recent weeks shows over Vice and Parker’s bad blood issues with Fatal Influence. During tonight’s show, NXT General Manager Ava was seen in her office with Vice and Parker. Ava stated that since they both have problems with Fatal Influence, they will team together in a tag match against them on next week’s show. This led to upset reactions and bickering from Vice and Parker, which Ava stated that it doesn’t matter what they think about each other since they are teaming next week.

In regards to the updated segment, this was announced to be a Miz TV segment with Oba Femi and Tony D’Angelo.
This segment was setup following The Miz announcing that he invited both Femi and D’Angelo to his Miz TV talk show for them to officially sign their match contract for the NXT North American Championship on next week’s NXT’s premiere show on The CW.

Stephanie Vaquer Makes Surprise Appearance on Tuesday’s NXT Show
Tuesday’s NXT show also featured Stephanie Vaquer making her official on-screen debut in WWE’s NXT brand.
During the show, Roxanne Perez and Giulia were in the ring for a press conference for their upcoming NXT Women’s Championship match on next week’s show. At the end of the press conference, a mysterious person off-screen interrupted and was heard talking and trying to ask a question to both Perez and Giulia. This was revealed to be Vaquer on the big screen who asked them what will do when they realize that she’s waiting on the other end of their match.
