WWE Announces Bronson Reed Pulled from Monday’s WWE RAW Show Due to COVID

WWE announced on Twitter that they have pulled Bronson Reed from the card of tonight’s WWE RAW show in Denver, Colorado due to him recently testing positive for COVID-19.

WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce announced that a replacement for Reed for his scheduled WWE Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat match against Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus is currently being determined.


Asuka Reportedly Signed New Contract with WWE

Asuka reportedly recently signed a new contract with WWE to remain in the company for the foreseeable future, according to PWInsider.

Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Asuka’s new deal is for multiple years in length.

No other details regarding the terms of Asuka’s new deal is currently known.

Asuka has been signed with WWE since 2015.


NXT Title Match Announced for October 1st NXT Show

During Sunday’s WWE NXT No Mercy 2024 event in Denver, Colorado, NXT General Manager Ava announced one new match for the card of the October 1st NXT show in Rosemont, Illinois.

This new match announced was a NXT Championship match of mystery opponent vs. Ethan Page (c).

This match was setup prior to the Joe Hendry vs. Ethan Page match on the show and Ava stating in a backstage interview that that winner of this match would be defending the title on NXT’s premiere show on The CW.
