Xia Zhao Official TNA In-Ring Debut Announced for Next Week’s TNA Impact! Show

Thursday’s Impact! show featured TNA Wrestling announcing that Xia Zhao, former Xia Li, will be making her official in-ring debut for the company at next week’s Impact! show on September 26th.

It was revealed that Zhao will be known under the new ring name of Lei Ying Lee going forward in TNA.


NXT’s Kendal Grey & Carlee Bright Make Appearance on 9/18 TNA Impact Show

Thursday’s TNA Impact! show also featured WWE NXT talents Kendal Grey and Carlee Bright making a surprise appearance in TNA Wrestling.

During the show, TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Spitfire came out to the ring for their scheduled title defense. This led to NXT liaison Arianna Grace coming out the stage and congratulated Spitfire for recently winning back the TNA Knockouts Tag titles. Grace then stated that she would like to see Spitfire have some new competition and their opponents tonight will be from NXT, who were revealed to be Grey and Bright.

Spitfire defeated Grey & Bright to retain their TNA Knockouts Tag titles on the show.

This was Grey and Bright’s first ever appearances in TNA and as part of TNA’s current talent crossover partnership with WWE.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling announced that former TNA Wrestling interviewer Sam Leterna recently joined their company as the ring announcer for their Forged In Excellence events on October 19-20 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Maple Leaf Pro also recently announced that Laynie Luck, Aiden Prince, and Brent Banks will be making an appearance for the company at their Forged In Excellence events on October 19-20 in Windsor.

As noted before, El Hijo del Vikingo has been out of action for Lucha Libre AAA since this past February due to a right knee injury. LuchaBlog reported that Vikingo made an appearance at an indie event for Max Proad this past Tuesday in Pachuca, Mexico and announced to the live crowd that he is still yet to be medically cleared for an in-ring return. Vikingo is currently scheduled to compete in a tag team match for GLEAT at their October 6th event in Osaka, Japan.

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre announced that Zeuxis is the next official competitor for Team Mexico for this year’s Women’s International Grand Prix event on October 25th at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.

Major League Wrestling announced that Mistico and Cesar Duran will be making an appearance for the company at their co-promoted Lucha Apocalypto event with CMLL on November 9th in Cicero, Illinois.

MLW also announced one new match for the card of their Slaughterhouse 2024 event on October 4th in St. Petersburg, Florida:

House of Glory announced that Nic Nemeth will be making his official debut appearance for the company at their Salvation event on October 18th in Jamaica, New York.

HOG also announced one new match for the card of their Salvation event on October 18th in Jamaica, New York:
