TNA Impact! TV Taping Spoilers from San Antonio – Three WWE NXT Talents Make Surprise Appearance, Former WWE Talent Makes Official In-Ring Debut

TNA Wrestling held a new set of television tapings on Saturday at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas.

This new set of tapings focused on the fallout of Victory Road 2024 and will be for future episodes of TNA Impact!

In regards to notable moments from the tapings, three WWE NXT talents made surprise appearances. Carlee Bright and Kendal Grey competed in a tag team match against Spitfire. Sol Ruca was revealed to be the mystery partner for Jordynne Grace for the tag team match against Rosemary & Wendy Choo.

In regards to returning NXT talents, NXT liaison Arianna Grace made her return appearance at the tapings.

In regards to debuts, Xia Zhao, former Xia Li in WWE, made her official in-ring debut for TNA at the tapings. Zhao competed under the new ring name of Lei Ying Lee.

TNA Xplosion:

  • Steve Maclin & Eric Young defeated the Pillars of Destiny (Hunter Gray & Parviz)
  • Nic Nemeth defeated Sami Callihan

TNA Impact!:

  • Alisha Edwards came out to the ring and gave a promo talking about how upset she was that Tasha Steelz and Masha Slamovich lost the TNA Knockouts Tag titles to Spitfire at Victory Road. Edwards called out Slamovich which eventually led to a match being made of Slamovich & The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) against The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) & Tasha Steelz. The results of this match was not given.
  • Masha Slamovich & The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) vs. The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) & Tasha Steelz
  • Hammerstone defeated Cody Deaner. Jake Something was on guest commentary during the match.
  • TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Spitfire (Jody Threat & Dani Luna) defeated Carlee Bright & Kendal Grey
  • Joe Hendry came out to the ring and gave a promo about him deserving a TNA World title shot after defeating Josh Alexander at Victory Road. This led to Frankie Kazarian coming out and stated that he also wants a shot at the title. This led to TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth coming out and suggested they have a number one contender’s match to determine who gets to challenge him. TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella came out and made the match official.
  • FIR$T CLA$$ (AJ Francis & KC Navarro) def. Sinner & Saint (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams)
  • Jonathan Gresham defeated Laredo Kid
  • Wendy Choo & Rosemary vs. Sol Ruca & Jordynne Grace went to a no-contest. Near the end of the match, Tasha Steelz and Masha Slamovich ran out leading to the match being thrown out.
  • Josh Alexander came out to the ring and called out Eric Young after the two were seen earlier arguing backstage. Alexander acted as if he was a changed man but this turned out to just be a ruse and attacked Young. This led to Steve Maclin running out trying to save Young only for Sinner & Saint to run out and helped Alexander.
  • Heather Reckless defeated Xia Brookside
  • Zachary Wentz & ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) defeated Leon Slater, KUSHIDA, “Speedball” Mike Bailey
  • Lei Ying Lee (former Xia Li) defeated Hyan
  • TNA World Championship #1 Contender match – Joe Hendry defeated Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian was originally declared the winner of the match after using brass knuckles to cheat but this led to Santino Marella coming out and restarted the match resulting in Hendry getting the victory in the end.
  • Dark match – Texas Death Match – Mike Santana defeated JDC
