Sonjay Dutt Underwent Total Shoulder Replacement Surgery

AEW backstage producer Sonjay Dutt recently announced on Twitter that he had underwent total shoulder replacement surgery last week.

Dutt stated that the reason for the surgery was due to him dealing with shoulder-related issues for the better part of the past two decades.


The Blade Underwent Back Fusion Surgery

As noted before, The Blade has been out of action for AEW since this past February due to a back injury.

The Blade provided an update on Instagram on Tuesday stating that he recently underwent successful back fusion surgery.

“Back fusion was a success 👍 Thank you to everyone for your continued support ❤️ Means a lot to this Grizzled Vet Utility Brother.”


Two New Matches Announced for Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Show

AEW announced two new matches for the card of tonight’s AEW Dynamite show at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

The first new match announced was a singles match of Sammy Guevara vs. Ricochet.

The second new match announced was a TNT Championship match of Lio Rush vs. Jack Perry (c).

Current card for September 11th AEW Dynamite show:
