Jamie Hayter vs. Saraya in Saraya Rules Match Announced for AEW Grand Slam 2024
Friday’s taped AEW Rampage show featured one new match announced for the cards of AEW Grand Slam 2024 Dynamite and Collision shows, which takes place on September 25th at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.
This new match announced was a Saraya Rules match of Jamie Hayter vs. Saraya.
This match was setup following a brawl and promo segment involving The Outcasts, Hikaru Shida, & Jamie Hayter. During Shida’s match with Harley Cameron, Saraya interfered multiple times and attempted to attack Shida with a kendo stick only for Hayter to come out and chased Saraya away. This led to Shida hitting a Falcon Arrow to Cameron for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Hayter celebrated with Shida in the ring whole the Outcasts looked on from ringside. After Hayter and Shida left the ring and headed towards the back, Saraya went into the ring and grabbed a microphone. Saraya talked about her bad blood issues with Hayter and challenged her to a “Saraya Rules” match at Grand Slam 2024, which Hayter accepted.

It was not stated if this upcoming match is for next week’s Dynamite Grand Slam 2024 show or Collision Grand Slam 2024 show.
Deonna Purrazzo Forms New Faction on Friday’s Rampage Show
Friday’s taped AEW Rampage show also featured Deonna Purrazzo officially debuting a new faction in AEW.
During the show, a video aired featuring Purrazzo talking about how she came to AEW to make art, beautiful and violent art, and how she only just begun. Purrazzo then talked about how she has never been alone and cultivated a network of friends and associates during her career and those people willing to repay her genoristy with their loyalty to her. This led to Taya Valkyrie showing up and standing next to Purrazzo. Purrazzo stated that if you think I’m dangerous, then just wait and see this “thing” of ours.

Friday’s taped AEW Rampage show also featured two new matches announced for the card of Saturday’s at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.
The first new match announced was a singles match of Darby Allin vs. Evil Uno.
The second new match announced was a singles match of “The Glamour” Mariah May vs. Lady Frost.
