In-Ring: Grayson Waller, Austin Theory, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, Nick Aldis

Live in the arena, the lights go black and both Grayson Waller and Austin Theory are introduced for the Grayson Waller Effect.

Waller welcomes everyone to the show and they introduce Cody Rhodes to the ring. Out comes Cody to the ring and Waller cuts Cody off as he is walking down to the ring saying this is an interview and to get in the ring. The fans chant “Cody” and he gets in the ring.

Cody is about to begin speaking but Waller cuts him off and says it is all about Cody, even on his own show. A loud “Cody” chant from the crowd. Waller says these idiot fans don’t know the real Cody but he does. He knows how selfish Cody is, how all he cares about is the WWE Championship. He asks him how many times his friends got beaten up because of him while he walked around getting all the glory. He says sarcastically that Cody is a really good friend. Cody cuts Waller off and begins talking about Owens.

He says that if he puts the SmackDown superstars list on the wall, could Kevin Owens beat a lot of the guys? He could and probably already has. Owens has been fighting The Bloodline since before he came back. Cody says he would not be sitting as WWE Champion had it not been for Kevin Owens but he never used Kevin Owens. He asks Waller if he can say the same thing.

Cody asks Waller if his relationship with Theory is a friendship or if he is using Austin Theory. Cody looks at Theory and calls him Magic Mike. He tells him that Waller is trying to show everyone who the real Cody Rhodes is while in actuality, Waller is using Theory and the rest of us are waiting for Theory to do something about it.

Waller says Theory is his best mate, his tag team partner. They would never turn on each other. Theory looks angry and confused. Waller says they prepared something to watch.

Waller shows a video of Kevin Owens turning his Sami Zayn, John Cena, Chris Jericho, Kofi Kingston. Waller says that doesn’t look like a good friend to him and out comes Kevin Owens to the ring.

Owens says he cannot stand back there any longer. They get the point. They are trying to convince Cody that he will turn his back on him. Owens tells Cody that Cody can admit that everyone of those guys had it coming, except for Kofi. He is great, that was on him. And they never had that relationship. He tells Waller and Theory that everyone knows what will happen. He will get in the ring, he and Cody will beat them up, someone will come out and make it a tag team match but to cut that out. Out comes Nick Aldis and Owens tells him to make the tag team match for tonight and Aldis announces the match for tonight.

Owens asks Aldis if they still have time for him to get in the ring and punch them in the face. Aldis tells him he does and Owens gets in the ring. Both Owens and Cody go after them but they escape and Cody’s song plays.

WWE United States Championship
Santos Escobar vs. LA Knight (c)

With the introductions being made, Legado Del Fantasma drag LA Knight to the outside of the ring and they throw him into the barricade. Humberto and Angel grab him and throw him into the ring steps with Santos Escobar and Elektra Lopez laughing in the ring. They throw LA Knight back into the ring and Jessica Carr the referee bans them from ringside. Lopez looks at the referee and she is banned from ringside.

LA Knight is down holding his shoulder but he gets to his feet. The bell rings and we are under way. Escobar goes for a big splash onto LA Knight but he moves out of the way. LA Knight rolls him up but Escobar kicks out. Escobar with a flying knee. He slams LA Knight knee first to the chest. He goes for the cover but LA Knight kicks out.

Back from commercial, LA Knight slams Santos Escobar face first into the announce table. LA Knight grabs Santos but Santos slams him face first into the announce table. Escobar climbs the barricade and he hits LA Knight with a double knees onto the announce table. Escobar throws LA Knight back into the ring. Escobar climbs the top rope and he hits him with a frog splash. He goes for the cover but LA Knight kicks out. Santos runs to the ropes but LA Knight with an atomic drop and a clothesline. A jumping neck breaker by LA Knight and he hits him with the side effect. He goes for the cover but Escobar kicks out. LA Knight goes for the BFT but Escobar with a back hand. A super kick by Escobar. He places LA Knight on the top rope and Escobar climbs the second rope. LA Knight with right hands and Escobar falls to the mat. LA Knight jumps from the second rope to the third rope and he hits him with an elbow drop. LA Knight with the BFT, he goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: LA Knight via Pinfall to retain the WWE United States Championship.

Video: Carmelo Hayes, Andrade

We cut to a video from earlier during the day. Carmelo Hayes begins talking about how he beat Andrade and Andrade storms into the dressing room. WWE crew get between both of them and Andrade tells him that he will see him in the ring next week.

Backstage: Legado Del Fantasma, Baron Corbin, Apollo Crews

We cut backstage and Legado Del Fantasma are arguing. Santos Escobar yells at them and say no. He tells them nothing they can say will make up for what they did. Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin walk in clapping sarcastically. Escobar says he won’t stand for this disrespect. He will talk to Nick Aldis and they will sort it out next week.

Blair Davenport & Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) vs. Naomi, Bianca Belair, & Jade Cargill

The bell rings and we are under way. Bianca and Dawn start the match. Dawn with right hands and kicks. She runs to the ropes but Bianca slams her onto the mat. Bianca with a standing moon sault. She goes for the cover but Dawn kicks out. A drop kick by Bianca and Dawn falls to the outside of the ring. Bianca with a cross body over the top rope onto Dawn.

Back from commercial, Blair with a kick onto Bianca and Dawn is tagged in. She tags Fyre and they double team Bianca. Blair is tagged in and she lands a double stomp onto the spine of Bianca Belair. Blair goes for the cover but Bianca kicks out. Dawn is tagged in and she tags Fyre, they double team Bianca. Fyre goes for the cover but Bianca kicks out. Fyre with a modified abdominal stretch but Bianca reverses it into a back breaker. Dawn is tagged in and she stomps onto Bianca and she hits Naomi off the ring apron. Bianca with a suplex onto Dawn. Blair is tagged in and as is Jade. Jade with forearms and she knocks all three men down. Jade powerbombs Blair down onto the mat.

A fall away slam by Jade, throwing Fyre onto Blair. Jade with a chokeslam onto Dawn. Blair with a super kick onto Jade and Naomi is tagged in. Naomi with a cross body off the top rope and a drop kick onto Fyre. Dawn and Blair on the ring apron and Naomi with double DDT’s. She goes for the cover but Fyre breaks it up. Dawn and Fyre double team Jade on the outside. Bianca with a cross body off the top rope onto the outside. Naomi with a kick to the side of the head onto Blair. A springboard moonsault by Naomi. She goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Naomi, Bianca Belair, & Jade Cargill via Pinfall.

Video: Natalya

We see a video of hyping up Bash in Berlin with Natalya narrating it. Heavy clips of Bret Hart in Germany and how that lead to WWE Monday Night Raw in Berlin. In it is shown Owen Hart vs. the British Bulldog with Bulldog winning the European title.

In-Ring: The Bloodline, Street Profits, B-Fab

Out come The Bloodline to the ring. Solo tells the fans to acknowledge him. Solo says the first thing he wants to talk about is their OTC is done. The fans chant “OTC”. The second thing is that he has next against Kevin Owens or Cody Rhodes. He says he is going to return the Undisputed title to his family and he is going to bring it back to him. The fans chant “We want Roman”. Solo says they can chant for him all they want but he isn’t there.

Solo says the third thing is that since he is going to be the Undisputed Champion, there is something wrong with the Tag Team titles. Solo tells Jacob to step up. Solo tells him to give him his Tag Team title. Solo tells Jacob to give it to Tanga Loa. Jacob gives it to Loa and Solo tells him he can’t be a Tag Team Champion if he is going to be his own personal enforcer. Solo and Jacob hug and Jacob tells him that he loves him.

Out come The Street Profits and B-Fab says they don’t care about that, they have business tonight. Ford says you can’t about them like that, they are happy because they just got a promotion. Dawkins says it is demotion season because The Street Profits are up and they want the smoke.

Backstage: LA Knight

We cut to Byron Saxton with LA Knight. He says this is his home, he spent his first 20 years in Washington and he just defended his title here. He will go across the ocean to Berlin and defend it one more time. And anyone who wants to show up in Berlin, to show up. Because all around the world, everyone is saying “LA Knight, Yeah” and he walks away.

WWE Tag Team Championship
The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) vs. The Bloodline (Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) (c)

Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu are watching at ring side. The bell rings and we are under way. Tama Tonga and Dawkins start the match. A right hand by Dawkins but Tama Tonga with a clothesline. Loa is tagged in and they double team Dawkins. Tama Tonga is tagged back in and he goes for a splash but Dawkins moves out of the way. A flapjack by Dawkins and Ford is tagged in. They double team Tama Tonga. He goes for the cover but Tama Tonga kicks out. Ford with a moon sault. He runs to the ropes and hits Tama Tonga with a clothesline. Ford goes for a right hand onto Loa but Tama Tonga with a right hand from behind. Loa is tagged in and they double team Ford. Loa goes for the cover but Ford kicks out. Loa with head butts. He goes for a back drop but Ford lands on his feet and he hits Loa with a kick to the side of the head. Dawkins is tagged in and they double team Loa. In comes Tama Tonga and they double team Tama Tonga. Dawkins with the sky high onto Loa. Ford is tagged in and he lands a frog splash off the top rope. He goes for the cover but Tama Tonga breaks it up. Dawkins throws Tama Tonga to the outside. Ford runs towards Loa but Loa throws him to the outside and he lands face first onto the ring steps. Tama Tonga is tagged in and he slams Ford head first on the outside.

Back from commercial, Dawkins with kicks onto Tama Tonga. He goes for the cover but Tama Tonga kicks out. Dawkins with the silencer onto Tama Tonga. Ford is tagged in and they double team Tama Tonga. He goes for the cover but Loa breaks it up. Dawkins throws Loa to the outside of the ring and Dawkins is tagged in. Tama Tonga on the outside and Dawkins pushes Tama Tonga onto Loa on the outside. Ford jumps over the ring post and lands onto The Bloodline on the outside. He throws Tama Tonga back into the ring. Solo gets on the ring apron and distracts the referee, Jacob Fatu hits Dawkins with a super kick on the outside. He throws Dawkins back into the ring and Tama Tonga slams Dawkins face first onto the mat. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: The Bloodline via Pinfall to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Solo and Jacob Fatu get in the ring and all four men begin attacking The Street Profits. Out come DIY who initially beat up The Bloodline but Jacob Fatu hits Ciampa with a Samoan Spike and Solo hits them both with the Samoan spike.

The Bloodline stand in the middle of the ring with their hands in the air.

Backstage: Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens

We cut to Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens backstage. Cody tells him they have it and Owens says tonight is about shutting them up. Owens tells Cody that the guys in the video earlier deserved it and he’s not that guy anymore. Cody tells him he believes him and Owens tells Cody he doesn’t want him to think that he asked for the tag team match tonight to set him up. Cody says all he can do is take him for his word.

Backstage: B-Fab, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell

Byron Saxton is backstage with B-Fab outside of the trainer’s room. He asks her how all four men are doing and she says they are upset but fine.

Video: Michin

A video package of Michin talking about her making it in the WWE. She says in Berlin, she will slaughter Nia Jax.

Backstage: Tiffany Stratton, Pretty Deadly, Nia Jax, Chelsea Green, Piper Niven

We cut to backstage and Tiffany Stratton is with Pretty Deadly. They are holding glue and are putting Nia’s crown back together. Nia tells Tiffany that Michin will get a beating of a life time next week. Tiffany asks her if there is something she can do and Nia tells her she can start by fixing her crown. Tiffany and Pretty Deadly walk away and we over hear Chelsea Green talking to Pipre Niven.

They talk about how Michin would not have made it to the ring last week if they were there. Chelsea says it would be a shame if Tiffany were to cash in on Nia for the Championship. Nia steps in and Chelsea asks her if she over heard what they had said. Nia looks at them and they walk away.

Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens vs. A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller)

The bell rings and we are under way. Cody and Waller start the match. Cody with right hands and an arm bar. Owens is tagged in and they double team Waller. Owners with a back elbow followed by a splash. Cody is tagged in and they double team Waller. Cody goes for the cover but Waller kicks out. Cody with an arm bar and Owens is tagged back in and Owens with a right hand. Owens with a chop to the chest. Theory runs towards Cody on the ring apron but Cody with a right hand. That distracts Owens and Waller with a right hand. Theory is tagged in and he hits Owens with a right hand.

Back form commercial, Owens with a frog splash off the top rope onto Waller. Cody is tagged in and a forearm onto Waller followed by a snap power slam. Cody jumps off the second rope and he hits Waller with the disaster kick and Waller falls to the outside of the ring. Cody runs to the ropes but Theory drags him to the outside of the ring. He grabs Cody but Cody throws him onto the announce table. Cody gets back into the ring and Waller hits him with a flat liner. He goes for the cover but Cody kicks out. Theory is tagged in and they double team Cody. Theory with a snap mare followed by a chin lock. Theory goes for a back drop but Cody lands on his feet and he hits him with a Cody Cutter. Waller goes to attack Owens but Owens gets off the ring apron, Cody goes for the tag but Theory with a back suplex. He goes for the cover but Cody kicks out. Waller is tagged in but Cody throws them to the outside of the ring. Cody tags Owens and Owens with clotheslines onto Waller and Theory on the outside of the ring. He throws Waller into the ring, gets on the ring apron and he hits Theory with a cannon ball. Owens get ck bain the ring and he hits Theory with a cannonball. He climbs the top rope and he lands a swanton. He goes for the cover but Theory breaks it up. Cody gets in the ring and he hits Theory with the Crossroads. Owens gets to his feet and he goes for the Stunner but Waller rolls him upbut Owens kicks out. Owens with a super kick. He throws Waller to the ropes and hits him with a pop up powerbomb. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens via Pinfall.

After the match, Cody Rhodes looks at A-Town Down Under after the match. Kevin Owens stands behind him holding the WWE Undisputed Championship. Owens walks quickly towards Cody, as if he were going to hit him, Cody turns around and Owens gives him the Undisputed Championship. Owens begins to yell at A-Town Down Under on the outside of the ring and Cody looks confused. Owens lifts Cody’s arm in the air as SmackDown goes off the air.
