Bloodline Rules Stip Set for Undisputed WWE Title Match at SummerSlam 2024

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show featured one new stipulation announced for the Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam 2024, which takes place on August 3rd at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

This new stipulation is a Bloodline Rules match of Solo Sikoa vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title.

This new stipulation was setup following a promo segment involving Rhodes and Sikoa. At the start of the show, Rhodes came out to the ring and asked the crowd what they wanted to talk about before turning his attention towards Sikoa. This led to Sikoa’s music playing and him coming out to the ring by himself. Sikoa told the crowd “Cleveland acknowledge me” which the crowd responded back with boos and “We want Roman” chants. Rhodes responded starting to rambling about Sikoa and it no being easy what Solo is trying to do in becoming the Tribal Chief. After some more words, Rhodes stated that Sikoa will find out that he has nothing to lose and he has everything on the line. Sikoa interrupted asking Rhodes if he was done because he is wasting his time and he is running out of patience. Rhodes responded back stating that he is not done and Solo is a self appointed Tribal Chief while he is an actual champion. Rhodes talked about him sitting on a throne he destroyed before and brought up Randy Orton and Kevin Owens saying that he can’t repay their debt if he loses. Rhodes then brought up how he beat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania in a Bloodline Rules match.

Sikoa responded back stating that Rhodes beat a weak Tribal Chief at WrestleMania. Sikoa stated that he is not weak, he is the opposite and is dangerous and at SummerSlam he is going to show Rhodes how dangerous he is.

This led to Jacob Fatu coming out through the crowd and was followed by Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. All three surrounded the ring and Sikoa issued a challenge to Rhodes for their match to be held under Bloodline Rules. After some more words by Sikoa, Rhodes accepted and stated that he does not have to fight his family, all he has to do is defeated the Tribal Chief. Rhodes stated that since the Tribal Chief is not here, he will have to settle for the wannabe instead. Rhodes then dropped his microphone and left the ring as the Bloodline looked on.

LA Knight Crashes Logan Paul’s Homecoming Ceremony & Steals Paul’s Truck at Friday’s SmackDown Show

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Logan Paul holding a Homecoming Ceremony for his return to Cleveland.

During the show, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis was in the ring with three Cleveland dignitaries standing behind him. Aldis introduced Paul who came out to the ring and shook their hands. Paul stated that he is home and told Knight that he has never met a man so eager to take his belt off. Paul stated that he has bad news for Knight because he is not his type. Paul stated that Knight will not strip him of his United States Championship in his own hometown. This led to the fans chanting “LA Knight” and Paul responding stating that he inspires this city. Paul stated that he represents the great city and he is Cleveland and the fans here can related to Knight as being a bunch of try hards who never make it. Paul then insulted Knight stating that he has had only two title defenses in 273 days but that is two more title defenses than Knight will ever have.

After some more words by Paul, Aldis interrupted stating that he put the names of those three people he brought out in his “google machine” and was not able to find anything about them. After some more words by Paul in response, Paul stated that it was time to unveil his Championship banner that he stated will hang in the rafters of this arena. Paul asked for a drum roll to be played and after some pyro went off, a large banner with Paul’s picture was unveiled revealing the giant words of “Yeah” across it. This led to a puzzled reaction by Paul and Knight’s music playing.

Knight came out and stated that his shades are not helping him see what that banner reads, which led to the fans responding chanting “Yeah.” Paul responded sarcastically congratulating the fans for knowing how to read. Knight stated that Paul is close to losing his title and was about to say something else before being sidetracked. Knight stated that Paul is not even from Cleveland and is from West Lake instead. Paul responded back stating that it is a suburb of Cleveland and Knight responded stating that Paul is worried about home comings and banners so he will do him a solid. Knight stated that he will go to the back and find him a new banner that he can hang up. Knight proceeded to go backstage to find another banner only to bump into Pretty Deadly. Knight asked Pretty Deadly if they had a banner, which they said no but they do have a musical coming out and wanted Knight to hear it. An uninterested Knight walked away and stated that he has something. This was revealed to be Paul’s Prime branded truck and entered it as Paul ran out of the ring and to the back. Paul tried to chase down Knight only for Knight to drive away in Paul’s truck.
