WWE NXT TV Taping Spoilers for August 27th Episode – TNA Talent Makes Surprise Appearance, Fallon Henley Suffered Nose Injury

WWE held a new set of NXT television tapings at their Performance Center on Tuesday in Orlando, Florida.

The first taping was for Tuesday’s live show and the second taping held right afterwards will be for the August 27th episode of NXT.

In regards to the reason for the double set of tapings, this was due to WWE production staff and agents will be traveling to Germany next week for their upcoming Bash In Berlin event in the country.

In regards to notable moments from the tapings, TNA Wrestling talent Rosemary made a surprise appearance. Rosemary competed in a singles match against NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan at the tapings.

In regards to potential injuries from the tapings, Fallon Henley suffered a busted nose during her tag team match with Jacy Jayne against Meta-Four’s Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend. Despite the injury, Henley was able to finish the match.

• Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne & Fallon Henley) defeated Meta-Four (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend)
• Joe Hendry held a new concert mocking Ethan Page. Page interrupted and after giving a promo, NXT General Manager Ava came out and stated that due to his disrespectful behavior towards NXT officials, she announced a Special Guest Referee stipulation for his NXT Championship match against Hendry at NXT No Mercy 2024. This led to Trick Williams coming out and revealed he will be the special guest referee. Page attempted to attack Hendry only for Hendry to counter and laid him out with a Standing Ovation. Williams went down to count Hendry as Hendry pinned Page. Hendry and Williams then posed with the title.
• Kelani Jordan came out to the ring and asked Wendy Choo to send one of her demons to face her. This led to Rosemary making a surprise appearance accepting the challenge.
• Kelani Jordan defeated Rosemary. Following the match, Choo attacked Jordan choking her out.
• Brooks Jensen defeated Malik Blade
• Karmen Petrovic defeated Izzi Dame
• Joe Coffey defeated Je’Von Evans
• Zachary Wentz and Wes Lee came out to the ring and agreed to a match at NXT No Mercy 2024.
• The D’Angelo Family (Luca Crusifino, Adrianna Rizzo, & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo) defeated No Quarter Catch Crew (Charlie Dempsey, Wren Sinclair, & Myles Borne)
