WWE: LA Knight Reportedly Signs Contract Extension, Bobby Lashley on Not Having “Much of a Connection” with Triple H, New Matches Set for 8/9 SmackDown Show

LA Knight Reportedly Restructures & Signed New Contract Extension with WWE

LA Knight reportedly recently signed a new contract extension with WWE, according to Fightful Select.

It was reported that their sources stated that Knight had both restructured and signed a contract extension during this summer to remain with WWE for the foreseeable future. Knight’s contract extension reportedly was for both a “large money increase” and “significant time.”

Prior to his contract extension, Knight’s contract reportedly had been set to expire in early 2025.

Bobby Lashley Comments on Not Having “Too Much of a Connection” with Triple H in WWE

As noted before, Bobby Lashley’s contract with WWE is currently set to expire within this August. Lashley and MVP are currently expected to be leaving WWE once their contracts expire and reform the Hurt Business group.

A recent episode of The Laboratory with Plaz podcast featured Lashley as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Lashley’s thoughts about him not having the same type of connection with Paul “Triple H” Levesque as he had with Vince McMahon in regards to how they viewed him as a star for WWE.

“If I say the wrong thing right now [laughs],” Lashley responded. “I had a connection with Vince. Vince understood me. Vince was big on, like, the show. He looked at people that were stars, and he saw that in me. And there were a lot of little nuggets that Vince would give me all the way throughout my career and tell me different things. So Vince just looked at me, he was like, ‘I can tell Bobby works his ass off. I can send him anywhere around the country to represent the company [and] the brand.’ He just looked at me like a star. So I like Vince [in this comparison]. I haven’t really had too much of a connection with Hunter. Hunter has his guys. And I’ve tried to, but we haven’t really worked enough together to get to know each other.”
