TNA Announces Bound For Glory 2024 for Detroit This October
During Thursday’s Impact! show, TNA Wrestling officially confirmed that this year’s Bound For Glory 2026 will be taking place in Detroit, Michigan.
It was announced that this year’s event will be taking place on October 26th at the Wayne State University Fieldhouse in Detroit.
It was also announced that tickets will officially go on sale starting on August 22nd for the pre-sale and August 23rd for the general public.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey & Zachary Wents Qualify for Ultimate X Match at TNA Emergence 2024
Thursday’s TNA Impact! show featured “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Zachary Wentz officially qualifying for the Ultimate X match at TNA Emergence 2024, which takes place on August 30th at the Old Forester’s Paristown Hall in Louisville, Kentucky.
Bailey qualified after defeating Trent Seven and Jake Something in a Three-way Qualifier match and Wentz qualified after defeating KC Navarro and NXT talent Dante Chen in a Three-way Qualifier match.

Thunder Rosa announced on Twitter that her all-women’s Mission Pro Wrestling promotion will go on a hiatus after their Midsummer Blast event on August 17th in San Antonio, Texas.
Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Wrestling announced that they will be reviving as a promotion with their return events called “Forged in Excellence” to take place on October 19th and 20th at the St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that there was no noticeable reaction within TNA over former TNA President Scott D’Amore’s announcement to relaunch his Maple Leaf Wrestling promotion.
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Bryan Danielson gave his thoughts about him being hopeful that Zack Sabre Jr. wins this year’s G1 Climax tournament and the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Danielson stated “As a fan of the New Japan product, I would love to see Zack Sabre win the G1 and go on to become IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. If you were to ask me whose matches I enjoy the most and what personalities I enjoy the most in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, it’s Zack Sabre Jr. I don’t know the business metrics and all that kind of stuff. But his interviews are the most compelling to me, and in a very real way. He’s the guy I enjoy watching the most.“
NJPW announced one new match for the card of their Capital Collision 2024 event on August 30th in Washington, D.C.:

As noted before, Jordan Oliver has been out of action for Game Changer Wrestling since this past July due to a torn ACL injury. Oliver provided an update on Twitter this past Wednesday stating that he had underwent surgery to repair his knee.
GCW recently announced that they will be holding a new event called Dream On on November 23rd at the American Dream mall in East Rutheford, New Jersey.
