AEW reportedly is currently estimated to have generated around 167,000 to 173,000 pay-per-view buys for this past Sunday’s AEW All In 2024 event at Wembley Stadium in London, England, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported that while AEW CEO Tony Khan did not disclose any numbers during the post-show media scrum, his recent statement of how this year’s All In event was in the top two for PPV buys for AEW events this year would indicate a number lower than 180,000 since that was what this past March’s Revolution 2024 event generated.
Meltzer reported that All In 2024’s cable television buys were up 40.8% and streaming buys were up around 45% compared to this past June’s Forbidden Door 2024 event. Meltzer reported that based on Forbidden Door 2024 had generated around 120,000 buys as the current estimate, that would give the 167,000 to 173,000 buys range for the current estimates for All In 2024’s buys.
Meltzer reported that All In 2024’s current estimates would be well above what most predictions were for buys prior to the show. Meltzer also reported that based on how late buys for AEW events typically have performed, All In 2024’s final buys would be on track to end up being around the fourth or fifth largest ever for an AEW event in AEW history.
