Chris Jericho Offer HOOK a FTW Title Match at All In 2024 But with Some Caveats

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured one new potential match for the card of AEW’s All In 2024 event.

This new potential match is a FTW Championship match of HOOK vs. Chris Jericho.

This potential match was setup following a promo segment involving HOOK and The Learning Tree. During the show, HOOK came out to the ring for an interview with Tony Schiavone. After being asked how his eye is in reference to Jericho’s recent fireball attack, HOOK stated that he can not see out it. HOOK then looked at the camera and after some more words, stated that he can see just fine out of the other on. HOOK then issued a challenge to Jericho for a match right here and now in Norfolk for the FTW Championship.

This led to the Learning Tree’s music playing to interrupt and came out to the stage. Jericho proceeded to say hi to everyone and ran down HOOK for challenging him to a fight. Jericho rejected HOOK’s offer for a fight in front of the Norfolk crowd but it is worth his time to do so at All In 2024. Jericho stated that he will be willing to give HOOK the match but with caveats. Jericho stated that the first is that this will be HOOK’s final shot for the title and if he loses, then he has to walk away from the Learning Tree and Jericho Vortex forever. Jericho stated that the second is he must face the “Redwood” Big Bill next week in Wales. Big Bill responded promising to give a beating to HOOK and shove him up his father Taz’s ass. This led to “Bad Apple” Bryan Keith responding saying the same line as HOOK tried to not laugh over it. HOOK responded accepting the terms and promised that he will beat Big Bill next week. HOOK stated that he will tear Jericho limb from limb and the Learning Tree will “never ever be the same again”, in reference to Jericho’s old catchphrase.
