AEW: Darby Allin on Still Having Plans to Climb Mt. Everest, TBS Title Match Contract Signing Segment Set for 8/21 Dynamite, Bryan Danielson on “Final Countdown” Status for All In 2024

Darby Allin Comments on Still Having Plans to Climb Mt. Everest

As noted before, Darby Allin postponed his plans to climb Mount Everest this year due to him suffering broken foot injury this past March.

The Dallas Morning News held a recent interview with Allin. One of the topics discussed included Allin revealing that he still is planning to climb Mt. Everest next year.

“You can only climb it two months out of the year. If you could climb it any month, I would have been there right now. But, you know, you gotta wait a year.

Everybody’s saying, like, ‘Maybe (the foot break) is a sign that you shouldn’t do it.’ And I said, ‘Hell no, that’s a sign I should do it next year.’ It’s been such a roller coaster of emotions going into it. But like, I wanted to do it before, but now I really want to do it. It’s just, like, the moment was taken away. I’m super excited for it.”
