AEW held a new set of television tapings for AEW Collision on Thursday at the Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas.
This taping will be for this week’s episode on August 3rd.

- The Patriarchy gave a promo. Christian Cage presented Nick Wayne with his AEW Trios title but did not do the same to Killswitch and instead gave it to Mother Wayne. House of Black interrupted leading to Christian offering Malakai Black some fatherly advice. This then led to Bang Bang Gang interrupting and Wayne getting attacked in the end.
- Dustin Rhodes & The Von Erichs gave a promo that was interrupted by Sammy Guevara. Guevara stated that he wants to team with Rhodes to earn his trust.
- Triple Threat match – Claudio Castagnoli defeated Lee Moriarty and Tomohiro Ishii
- Mistico & Hologram defeated The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese & Ari Daivari)
- Chris Jericho gave a promo in Spanish that was directed against Mistico
- Jeff Jarrett gave a backstage promo talking about his upcoming match against Bryan Danielson. Jarrett issued a stipulation for their match to be held as a No DQ match.
- “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. local talent ending in a No Contest. Prior to the start of the match, “The Glamour” Mariah May came out to be on guest commentary. Storm attacked May before the match started leading to the local talent joining in on the brawl and attacked Storm resulting in the match being called off.
- Kyle Fletcher defeated Brian Cage. Prior to the start of the match, Don Callis came out with Fletcher to be on guest commentary. Following the match, Fletcher gave a promo with Callis in the ring calling out MJF challenging him for the AEW American Championship. This led to MJF responding accepting his challenge but as an Eliminator match.
- Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) & Leila Gray gave a promo that was interrupted by MxM Collection (Mace Madden & Mansoor)
- Thunder Rosa defeated Taya Valkyrie. Following the match, Rosa called out Deonna Purrazzo, which led to Purrazzo coming out and Rosa challenging her next week to a Texas Bull Rope match.
- Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe, & FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) defeated The Undisputed Kingdom (Mike Bennett, Matt Taven, Roderick Strong) & The Beast Mortos. Following the match, FTR gave a promo talking about them being the lifeblood of AEW. This led to The Acclaimed coming out to interrupt and gave a promo in response. FTR and The Acclaimed then engaged in a brawl that was broken up by Briscoe who stated that The Elite are trying to divide AEW. FTR then offered a handshake to The Acclaimed to settle the issues between them which The Acclaimed refused to shake.
