Next Week’s Collision Show to Air on Friday & Go Head-to-Head Against WWE SmackDown

AEW recently announced that next week’s AEW Collision show will be airing on Friday, September 6th instead of its usual Saturday date.

It was also announced that next week’s show will air starting on 8PM EST on TNT and that night’s AEW Rampage to air right afterwards at its usual start time of 10PM EST.

This was initially announced during Friday’s AEW Rampage show and confirmed during the start of tonight’s Collision show.

The reason for the preemption is due to AEW holding their All Out 2024 on Saturday, September 7th.

Current Card for September 4th AEW Dynamite Show

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured two new matches announced for the card of next week’s AEW Dynamite show on September 4th at the UW Panther Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The first new match announced was a Trios match of Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) & PAC vs. The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy & Kyle O’Reilly) & Will Ospreay.

This match was setup following a backstage promo segment involving PAC, Cassidy, and O’Reilly. During a backstage interview with Lexy Nair, PAC talked about how getting his Wembley moment doesn’t mean that he is going to change and called out Ospreay. PAC stated that if he had his way, they would have their match tonight but he knows they can’t due to contractual reasons. PAC then stated that he will get his partners and Will can get his friends and we can get a taste of things at next week’s Dynamite show. This led to The Conglomeration’s Cassidy & O’Reilly interrupting and after some banter between PAC and The Conglomeration, a Trios match was agreed to between BCC & PAC and The Conglomeration & Ospreay.

The second new match announced was an AEW Women’s Championship match of Nyle Rose vs. Mariah May (c).

This match was setup following a match hype video and match graphic shown.
