Jamie Hayter Makes Surprise Return at AEW All In 2024

Sunday’s Zero Hour pre-show for AEW’s All In 2024 event at Wembley Stadium in London, England featured Jami Hayter making her surprise return from injury to AEW.

During the pre-show, Saraya, Harley Cameron, and the Knight family came out to the ring. Cameron yelled at the crowd stating that Saraya is pissed and the show can not go on. Saraya responded stating that she is the “Queen of England” and the crowd will show their respect to her. Saraya talked about how she won the AEW Women’s title at last year’s show and how she’s not even on the show this year. Saraya stated that she is the best wrestler to come out of England and this show will not go on until she gets the respect she deserves.

This led to Hayter’s music interrupting and made her surprise return to a massive ovation from the crowd. Hayter proceeded to lay out the entire Knight Family and Cameron on her way to the ring. Saraya attempted to attack Hayter only for Hayter to quickly counter and sent Saraya out of the ring.

This was Hayter’s first appearance in AEW since May of 2023 due to a shoulder-related injury.

Luther Makes Surprise Return & Mariah May Wins AEW Women’s Title at All In 2024

Prior to the start of the AEW Women’s Championship match on the show, a special intro video aired for “Timeless” Toni Storm’s entrance leading to Luther making his surprise return from “injury” and handed the AEW Women’s title to Storm. Luther then accompanied Storm to the ring for her match.

Near the end of the match, May attempted to attack Storm with the Women’s title only for her plan to be foiled by Luther. May then went for the bloody shoe only for that plan to be foiled as well by Storm. This led to May catching Storm in a Jackknife Pin for a nearfall and followed it with leaping knee strike and Storm Zero for the victory.

This was May’s first championship victory of her AEW career.

HOOK Wins FTW Title at All In 2024

Sunday’s AEW All In 2024 event at Wembley Stadium also featured HOOK defeating Chris Jericho to become the new FTW Champion.

Near the end of the match, HOOK locked in a Redrum to Jericho leading to The Learning Tree’s Bryan Keith attempting to interfere. This led to Taz leaving the announcer’s table and locked in a Tazmission to Keith as HOOK kept his Redrum locked in on Jericho for the tap out victory.

This was HOOK’s third FTW title victory of his AEW career.

Following the Young Bucks victory over The Acclaimed and FTR in a Three-way match to retain their AEW World Tag titles, the Grizzled Young Veterans’ James Drake & Zack Gibson made their surprise return and confronted the Young Bucks in the ring. This led to the Young Bucks quickly leaving the ring and GYV’s attacking FTR as the Bucks looked on.

Nigel McGuinness Makes Surprise In-Ring Return at All In 2024

Sunday’s AEW All In 2024 event at Wembley Stadium featured Nigel McGuinness making a surprise in-ring return.

Near the end of the AEW American/International Championship match between Will Ospreay and MJF, MJF attempted to strike Ospreay with his Diamond Dynamite ring while the referee was down only to be stopped by a mysterious masked hoodie person. This person took off their hoodie and mask revealing himself to be Garcia. Garcia then laid out MJF with a punch leading to Ospreay hitting a Tiger Driver ’91 for the pinfall victory to become the new AEW International Champion.

This was Garcia’s first appearance in AEW since this past July’s Dynamite Beach Break 2024 show. This was Ospreay’s second AEW International title victory of his AEW career.
