We got Kenny Omega coming back, we got Will Ospreay. Yeah, the list really goes on and on. So there’s a lot of matchups that are fresh that haven’t been had yet, but those two definitely jump to the top of the list.” (Transcript h/t: F4WOnline.com)

In a recent interview with GameSpot, Will Ospreay gave his thoughts about being surprised over how quickly he adapted to weekly live national wrestling television since joining AEW. Ospreay stated “No one can ever prepare you for being on live national TV and the American audience takes to you so well. But I guess this is what happens when you show up to work with a big smile on your face and willing to do whatever it takes to get the train rolling and just show people your love and enthusiasm for wrestling. This is something that I’ve just — I’ve always wanted to really stretch out for, but I’ve never thought was ever possible. So just the fact that everyone’s taken to me so well, I’m just grateful, dude. I’m really surprised that I adapted so well to it. People think I have, but I always have doubts about myself, you know? I mean, I always want to make sure that I’m pleasing everyone and doing things the right way, but everything’s been going really well.

In a recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show podcast, co-host Nikki Garcia, former Nikki Bella in WWE, gave her thoughts about being in “awe” over Mariah May and “Timeless” Toni Storm’s match for the AEW Women’s World Championship at this past Sunday’s AEW All In 2024 event. Garcia stated “Then the girls got on the screen, and I was like, ‘Matteo, come watch what mommy used to do,’ and it was really cute because it was Toni Storm versus Mariah May, and he just was in awe, from their entrances, and he was watching them wrestle. It was cute because one would do something, and he’d be like, ‘Yay,’ and I found myself cheering on Mariah May, and Matteo wanted Toni Storm, so we were just having this fun little moment. I’m like, this is so fun. By the way, I got hooked. I literally sat and watched wrestling for four hours on Sunday. I couldn’t believe it. I haven’t sat and watched a pay-per-view in so long.I was just in awe of so many of the wrestlers and the performance at All In. Toni Storm and Mariah May, if there’s a women’s match to watch, if you’re not a wrestling fan but maybe you’re like, ‘I want to watch something,’ their match from AEW All In was so incredible. The storytelling, the moves, I was just in awe of those women. It was just so incredible.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

In a recent interview with the Battleground Podcast, Nick Wayne gave his thoughts about working with Christian Cage in AEW. Wayne stated “Getting to be under the learning tree of guys like Christian and once at a time Sting. It’s just unreal the fact that I’m so young and have a guy like that at arm’s reach of distance that I can just reach out to whenever and get critique. I was once asking Sting, and now asking Christian ‘Please watch my matches and just tear me apart with critiques because I wanna get better.’ It’s great to hear what they have to say, they’re some of the best to do it. Everywhere they’ve gone they’ve succeeded in their career, and I want to do the same thing. I’ve always thought my promos were my weak point … But having Christian who is like the best at promos, you couldn’t ask for a better teacher. He helps me, I’m feeling so much more confident now talking and cutting promos and whatnot.” (Transcript h/t: PostWrestling.com)
