Rikishi Comments on His Issues with WWE’s Booking of Jey Uso
A recent episode of the Off The Top podcast featured WWE Hall of Famer and co-host Rikishi giving his thoughts about his issues with WWE’s current presentation and booking of his son Jey Uso. Rikishi also gave his thoughts about online criticisms from fans who are tired with The Bloodline storyline.
“I got hairs on the back of my neck every time I watch him (Jey Uso)… SummerSlam, where is he? Let’s write him into he likes Mami. Mami? That’s the best that those writers got? Let’s write this guy into a relationship with Mami? What y’all trying to do? Break his marriage up? Y’all can’t put him in a good storyline so what you gonna do now? God forbid you guys try to tell her tongue kiss each other on Raw. Sh*t. That better not happen. When it comes to The Bloodline, this is what gets me going. The Bloodline, when people talk about The Bloodline, ‘Oh, we tired of The Bloodline.’ You can be tired all you want for a few years, right? But we’ve been going through this sh*t for 75-plus years. You don’t think we tired? But we the type of people, we tired but we keep coming back. We keep finding solutions, not excuses. Solutions and the solutions needs to be the best you can be in that squared circle. Otherwise, if we not over in the squared circle, move us out.
100 percent (I’m telling others to step up). 100 percent. If you can put asses in seats, if you can knock those merchandise sales out, if you can bring up WWE’s revenue, TKO’s revenue. If The Bloodline is not that anymore, I get it. I get it y’all. Go ahead and just knock it then. But you cannot, you cannot knock The Bloodline that’s been holding professional wrestling company as WWE on their backs for the last four to five, six years now and sh*t, they still holding it without the main guy there. Who’s the main guy? Roman motherf*cking Reigns. Come on. Y’all can write that. Write that sh*t because when he does come back, oh, you better have enough armored trucks to fill up that bank account for WWE, TKO. Have enough because this man here is just gonna sell out everywhere. Everywhere and anywhere throughout the world that WWE puts him through. That’s not to mention The Usos when they come back. That’s not to mention maybe another Bloodline member possibly, possibly, may be able to drive up in a Black Lincoln. I’ll leave it at that dammit.”

Dominik Mysterio Rejects Liv Morgan & Gets Licked by Rhea Ripley at Monday’s WWE RAW Show
Monday’s WWE RAW show in Green Bay, Wisconsin featured Liv Morgan latest attempt to break apart Dominik Mysterio’s relationship with Rhea Ripley.
During the show, an upset Ripley dragged out Mysterio to the ring to confront him over her being tired of the games that Morgan has been playing and wanting answers. This led to Morgan showing up in the crowd and tried to persuade Mysterio to ditch Ripley and be with her for good instead. Mysterio angrily responded back yelling in mixture of Spanish and English telling Morgan that she hates her and claimed that she had ruined his life and could not stand her anymore. During his rant in Spanish, Mysterio called Morgan a “cabrona” which is “bitch” in English. This led to Morgan leaving in tears over what Mysterio had said and a joyous Ripley whispering something into his ear and grabbed his head to give a lick to his face in appreciation.

Former WWE Director of VOD Comments on Kevin Dunn’s Past Tenure in Charge of WWE Production
A recent episode of the Insiders podcast featured former WWE Director of VOD and Supervising Producer John Carlan as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Carlan’s thoughts about working under former WWE Executive Producer Kevin Dunn during his time in the company.
“It was hard. It was never easy. He certainly had a high bar. At times, I didn’t like it, to be honest. Our relationship was good for the most part. We had a couple of ups and downs. We also had times where we had fun after the show where we would hang out in a group and he’d be part of that. It was hard. There was a lot of things there…it’s difficult because there were things that were handled differently than I would have handled them personally. There were certainly some policies that not all of us agreed with. He was the boss. It was what it was. There are people who are still there that grew up from Kevin that may have some of the same qualities that I may not necessarily agree with, but we rolled with it day-to-day. It wasn’t like I worked a lot with him directly. I had a little tenure on the road. That was my closest interaction in a professional environment. He was around if there were shoots that were very important. There were other times where we had fun and we had old production meetings.
Every time we came back from the road, KD would run the production meeting with all the producers. He would give a recap of the week and we’d go through different things and people would have questions. KD is a big Raiders fan. I’m a big Patriots fan. We’re leading up to the Tuck Rule game in 2001. Stephanie McMahon used to go the production meetings. We got close because we grew up Patriots fans and went to school down the street from each other in Boston. I told Steph before the meeting, ‘Underneath my work clothes, I have my Tom Brady jersey on. At the end, he’s going to ask if anyone has questions. I’m going to get up and say ‘We’ll see you this weekend,’ and I’m going to rip my work shirt off and spin around. Will you have my back?’ She said, ‘I have your back.’ We went through the meeting. I was dying inside thinking, ‘Am I really going to do this?’ I did it. Everybody popped and laughed. He looked at me and goes, ‘I’ll tell you right now, if they win this game, your ass is fired.’ It never happened, it was all in fun. It was great. That was a fun interaction with him. He’s certainly controversial, no question. A lot of that outside stuff is inaccurate, but a lot is accurate.”
