Quick Match Results

  1. WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender match – Bron Breakker defeated Ilja Dragunov via Referee Stoppage
    • Near the end of the match, Dragunov attempting to hit a move off the apron to Breakker on the outside that was countered by a mid-air spear by Breakker. This led to the referee starting to count out Dragunov before stopping and called for the bell after Dragunov was not able to continue.
    • Following the match, WWE doctors came out to check on Dragunov while Breakker gave a happy reaction over his victory.
  2. Sonya Deville defeated Lyra Valkryia via Deville’s Advocate (pinfall)
    • Prior to the start of the match, Kayden Carter & Katana Chance came out with Valkyria and Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark came out with Deville to be in their respective corners.
    • Near the end of the match, Valkyria went to the top rope only for Baszler to get on the apron and distract the referee. This led to Stark getting on the apron and shoved Valkyria off the turnbuckle causing Valkyria to crash onto the match. Baszler & Stark then brawled with Carter & Chance on the outside as Deville hit Deville’s Advocate to Valkyria for the pinfall victory.
  3. The Final Testament (Karrion Kross & AOP (Akam & Rezar) defeated Akira Tozawa, Otis, & Xavier Woods via Final Prayer (pinfall)
    • Prior to the start of the match, Maxxine Dupri came out with Tozawa, Otis, & Woods to be in their corner while Scarlett & Paul Ellering came out with the rest of Final Testament to be in their corner.
    • Kross pinned Woods after hitting the Final Prayer to give the Final Testament the victory.
    • Following the match, Chad Gable & The Creeds Bros came out to the ring and confronted Otis, Tozawa, & Dupri. Gable first mocked Otis for failing as the new leader of Alpha Academy and offered Otis a spot in his new group. Otis responded mocking Gable for running away last week and leaving the Creeds by themselves when they Wyatt Sicks appeared and gave his answer of no. This led to the Creed Bros attacking Otis & Tozawa that was stopped after the Wyatt Sicks appeared and Uncle Howdy laid out Gable.
  4. Bronson Reed vs. Pete Dunne went to a No Contest.
    • This match never officially started after Sheamus ran into the ring and attacked Dunne causing for the referee to toss out the match. Sheamus then brawled with Reed and Dunne that ended with Sheamus hitting a Brogue Kick to Reed and stared down Dunne afterwards.
  5. Zelina Vega defeated Zoey Stark via Code Red (pinfall)
    • Prior to the start of the match, Shanya Baszler & Zoey Stark came out with Deville to be in her corner. Vega came out with a cast on her injured arm.
    • Near the end of the match, Vega sent Starks into the middle rope to setup a 619 that was interrupted after Deville got onto the apron. This led Baszler tripping Vega while the referee was not looking. Lyra Valkyria, Kayden Carter, & Katana Chance ran out and brawled with Deville & Baszler on the outside as payback for earlier. In the ring, Stark attempted to hit a powerbomb to Vega who managed to escape using her cast as an assist. Vega then hit a forearm strike with her cast to Stark and followed it with a Code Red for the pinfall victory.
  6. Jey Uso & Sami Zayn defeated Judgement Day (JD McDonagh & Finn Balor) via Uso Splash (pinfall)
    • Prior to the start of the match, Carlito & Dominik Mysterio came out with McDonagh & Balor to be in their corner.
    • Near the end of the match, Zayn hit a Helluva Kick to McDonagh and followed it with a plancha dive to Judgement Day on the outside. Uso went to the top rope and hit an Uso Splash to McDonagh for the pinfall victory for his team.
    • Following the match, Zayn & Uso’s victory celebration was cut short by Bron Breakker running out and hit a spear to Zayn laying him out and quickly left the ring.

Gunther Responds to His Comments Last Week Calling Priest “Street Trash” By Calling Judgement Day “Street Trash” & Priest Gives Brawl Retort

Monday’s WWE RAW show featured Gunther responding to his comments last week calling Damien Priest “street trash” by going on all insulting Priest and Judgement Day for being “street trash.”

During the show, Gunther came out to the ring. Gunther grabbed a microphone and started to speak before quickly stopping. Gunther stated that he wants to explain himself and he took some time to reflect about what he said to Priest last week. Gunther stated that he agrees and thought about apologizing but then stated that he meant everything he said last week. Gunther stated that everyone in this building is a bum. Gunther stated that what is at stake is clearest and dearest to him, which he revealed to be “the reputation, prestige, and honor of this great sport … the World Championship.” Gunther then asked why did they send him out first and not Priest? Gunther stated that everyone knows that Priest does not live up to it and that cute little sob story about fighting from the streets does not cover up that Priest is a pretender and a wannabe. Gunther then stated there there is a saying where he comes from. Gunther stated “show me your friends and I show you who you are.” Gunther stated that he knows Priest’s friends, The Judgement Day and today they will be judged by him. Gunther stated that they are all street trash and he will make this offer one more time to Priest. Gunther stated for Priest to take the weight off your shoulders and hand him the World championship. Gunther then stated that Priest can go home to his trailer park.

This led to Priest’s music playing and him coming out to the ring with a microphone in his hand. After Priest got into the ring, Priest said nothing and gave a punch to Gunther resulting in a brawl breaking out between the two. This led to WWE officials and security rushing out trying to separate the two as the brawl that spilled to the outside.

In a follow-up segment, RAW interviewer Jackie Redmond was seen backstage waiting to get an interview with Gunther. Instead Priest and Gunther brawled again resulting in WWE officials trying to separate the two again as the brawl spilled out to the parking lot.

Bron Breakker vs. Sami Zayn Rematch for Intercontinental Title Set for SummerSlam 2024

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured the first of two new matches announced for WWE SummerSlam 2024.

This new match is a WWE Intercontinental Championship match of Bron Breakker vs. Sami Zayn (c).

This match was setup following Breakker defeating Ilja Dragunov to become the new number one contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

New Wyatt Sicks Video Airs on Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured a new Wyatt Sicks video being aired.

During the show, RAW announcers Michael Cole and Pat McAfee talked about the recent Wyatt Sicks video and stated that another video had been sent and they would be airing it.

This new video featured Nikki Cross being seen and Uncle Howdy as the narrator. Uncle Howdy stated that to look at yourself. Howdy then stated “they lied to you, they ignore you, they watch you suffer” as Cross and Sister Abigail were seen throughout his speech. Howdy stated that he is the answer leading to Cross screaming as the video ended.

In a follow-up segment, Chad Gable & The Creed Bros confronted Otis, Akira Tozawa, & Maxxine Dupri after Otis, Tozawa, & Xavier Woods’ loss to the Final Testament. Gable talked about how there is something that makes him want to continue to help his old pupils. Gable brought up Otis looking his he has accepted a leadership role in Alpha Academy and mocked him for losing for being the first thing he did as the new leader. Gable then boasted about the Creed Bros and his new pairing with them and offered Otis the chance to come back to him. Otis responded mocking Gable for running away and leaving the Creed Bros to deal with the Wyatts last week and said that his answer was no. This led to Gable saying “oh well” and told the Creed Bros to attack Otis & Tozawa which they did. After some more beatings by the Creed Bros to Otis on the outside, the lights suddenly turned off and smoke began to fill the ring. This led to the Wyatts Sicks appearing on the stage but with one of them missing. As Gable and the Creed Bros were focused on the Wyatts Sicks on the stage, Uncle Howdy came up from behind and hit a Sister Abigail to Gable in the ring laying him out.

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre with Special Guest Referee Match Set for SummerSlam 2024

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured the second of two new matches announced for SummerSlam 2024, which takes place on August 3rd at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

This new match announced was a Special Guest Referee match of CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre.

During the show, CM Punk came out to the ring and talked about Green Bay being green and his shoes being pink and wanting both to be stained with the blood of the Scottish Psychopath. Punk stated that as of this past Saturday, he is medically cleared. Punk then called out McIntyre to come to the ring for the beating he deserves.

This led to McIntyre’s music playing and him coming out to the stage. A gleeful McIntyre stated that he can not wait to tell Punk how long he has been waiting to get into the ring to tear Punk apart and there is nothing stopping him but he doesn’t want to do it now. This led to an angry Punk stating he wants to and left the ring charging at McIntyre as WWE officials and security ran out to stop Punk. McIntyre stated that Punk and him is a bigger match than Green Bay and told Punk to control his emotions. McIntyre stated that when he gets emotional, he turns to family and it calms him down. McIntyre proceeded to raise up Punk’s bracket which led to Punk becoming furious.

RAW GM Adam Pearce interrupted stating that he has had enough and what Drew is not telling Punk is there is a reason they are not fighting tonight. Pearce stated that McIntyre is officially reinstated and Punk is medically cleared. Pearce stated that Punk will be facing McIntyre at SummerSlam but warned that if either of them lay a finger on each other, then the match is off. Pearce also stated that whoever throws the first punch will be suspended. Pearce then stated that he has a big referee problem, which led to Seth Rollins’ music playing and him coming out laughing his way past McIntyre.

Rollins made his way to the ring and stated that they had themselves a problem. Rollins stated that Drew hates Punk and Pink hates Drew and with all the chaos you have caused has scared away anybody from getting between them. Rollins stated that he isn’t a problem guy, he is a solution guy. Rollin stated that he has a little solution and knows a guy who thrives on chaos. Rollins then stated that he knows a guy who would love nothing more than to put the two of you in your places. Rollins stated that person is him and he is the guest referee for their match.
