Johnny Gargano’s Family Restaurant Destroyed in Fire

Johnny Gargano announced earlier today on Twitter that his father’s restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio was destroyed in a fire incident on Sunday night.

It was stated that this led to the roof Gargano’s Restaurant & Catering collapsing and the building being lost as a result.

Tamina WWE Status Update

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the recent rumors of Tamina being pulled from WWE’s roster are not true based on his sources.

Johnson reported that as of 11AM today, Tamina was still list on WWE’s internal roster list under the MISC section.

In regards to Tamina’s future in WWE, Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that Tamina is currently not expected to make an on-screen return.

Sapp reported that Tamina has not been backstage for WWE television shows in months or at least not on a regular basis. Sapp also reported that WWE officials did not have any creative plans for Tamina when she was drafted to the SmackDown brand in 2023. Those spoken to reportedly stated that it would not be surprising to see Tamina stay with WWE in some capacity due to her being a locker room leader.

Tamina last wrestled in WWE this past February on an episode of WWE Main Event.

The Miz Comments on John Cena Being the “Greatest of All-Time” in Wrestling

Sports Illustrated held a recent interview with The Miz. One of the topics discussed included his thoughts about John Cena’s recent retirement tour announcement and his belief that Cena is the greatest wrestler of all-time.

“When I heard him say he was retiring at the end of next year, I had mixed emotions. I’m proud that I’ve been able to share the ring with him and learn from him. I’m still using what I’ve learned from him in and out of the ring. I’m also sad. This is it.

Being in the ring with him is unlike anything else,” he continued. “He’s the greatest of all-time.

He’s a bona fide movie star now, but he loves this so much he’s still going to do live events. I still can’t believe this is it for him. I’m sad, but I’m also happy–this must be what he wants.

I would love one more moment with him. We were rivals for so long, and just this past WrestleMania, the day after, I’m tagging with John Cena doing the ‘You can’t see me’ and giving AA’s to people. I never thought I’d ever do that. It’s interesting to be a good guy now. I’m not used to it, I’m not comfortable with people cheering me, but I’m embracing it.”
