Jesse Ventura Comments on Attending Monday’s WWE RAW Show in Minnesota

Monday’s WWE RAW show in Saint Paul, Minnesota featured WWE airing a video showing WWE Hall of Famer Jesse “The Body” Ventura was in attendance backstage as a guest.

Following the show, Ventura reflected on his backstage visit and meeting with WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

“Yes, it’s true. The Body is back home. Thank you @TripleH and the whole @WWE family. @CMPunk looks like hell froze over… again.”

In a follow-up tweet, Ventura shared a photo of him and CM Punk backstage at the show.

Thea Hail Comments on Thunder Rosa Helping Her Get WWE Contract After AEW Dark Match

The Pittsburgh City Paper held a recent interview with NXT talent Thea Hail. One of the topics discussed included Hail’s thoughts about her decision to pursue a professional wrestling career.

“I quit gymnastics, I quit cheer. I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life, and I was just scrolling through Instagram, and I always follow[ed] WWE. I always thought it was amazing, but I never really thought it was a thing you could do. I saw this video of Rey Mysterio, and I just put my phone down, and went, ‘I’m doing that.’”

Hail also gave her thoughts about her match against Thunder Rosa in an episode of AEW Dark and how Rosa helped get her in contact with a WWE recruiter for her to join WWE.

“He found me a training school in Pittsburgh called the Stronghold Training Center, and then that was combined with the Iron City Wrestling Academy, and I trained at both of those schools,” Hail tells City Paper. “I ended up landing a dark [non-televised] match for AEW after having a seminar with QT Marshall, and I wrestled Thunder Rosa, and she got me in contact with a recruiter from WWE.”

CM Punk Comments on His Upcoming In-Ring Return at WWE SummerSlam 2024 & Never Claimed to be a Leader

A recent episode of ESPN’s First Take show featured CM Punk as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Punk’s thoughts about his upcoming in-ring return at this Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam 2024 event.

“I’m extremely pumped. It’s been a long road to get back to WWE. We obviously have had our problems, I’ll say. To come back and get injured in January was pretty crushing. It gave me a lot to do in rehab. Being able to refocus and really seize the opportunity that I’ve been given.”

Punk also gave his thoughts about recent comments Drew McIntyre made in a promo about Punk is not a leader.

“I never claimed to be one. I’m just trying to do my job. I’m just trying to wrestle. I’m very polarizing for some odd reason.”
