Nic Nemeth Announced He Suffered Partially Torn Labrum Injury

Thursday’s TNA Impact! show featured Nic Nemeth revealing that he recently suffered a partially torn labrum injury but will be medically cleared to compete at TNA’s Slammiversary 2024 event on July 20th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Nemeth is current scheduled to compete in a Six-Way Elimination match for the TNA World Championship at the event.


Nick Gage Suffered Injury & Pulled from This Weekend’s GCW Events

Game Changer Wrestling announced that Nick Gage recently suffered an undisclosed injury.

As a result, it was also announced that they had pulled Gage from Thursday’s Believe Me 2024 event in Louisville, Kentucky and have also pulled him from this Saturday’s Don’t Tell Me What To Do event in Indianapolis, Indiana.


CMLL Announces AEW’s Death Triangle Appearance for July 26th Event

Wednesday’s episode of CMLL Informa featured Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre officially announcing that AEW Trios team Death Triangle (Rey Fenix, Penta El Zero Miedo, & PAC) will be making an appearance for the company at their July 26th Super Viernes event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.

It was announced that Death Triangle will be competing at the upcoming event although their opponents were not given.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Thursday’s TNA Impact! show featured WWE NXT talent Wes Lee making his surprise return appearance to TNA. This was Lee’s first appearance in TNA/Impact since November of 2020.

Thursday’s TNA Impact! show also featured Jeff Hardy being involved an an injury angle resulting in him suffering a “head” related injury and being stretchered out of the venue. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the likely reason why TNA officials wrote out Hardy for the time being is due to him likely not being allowed to enter Canada for this weekend’s Slammiversary 2024 event and Impact! tapings in Montreal. Johnson reported that Hardy’s past legal issues very likely would have prevented him from being able to travel into the country.

TNA officials reportedly recently have held a lot of talks regarding this year’s Bound For Glory event to take place either in the United Kingdom or New York City, New York, according to PWInsider.

Stardom announced that Ami Sourei will be out of action for the company for the foreseeable future due to she had recently underwent surgery for a torn ACL injury in her left knee.

Major League Wrestling recently announced that Stardom talent Hanako will be making her official debut appearance for the company at their Summer of the Beats event on August 29th in New York City, New York.

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced that the official theme song for this year’s G1 Climax tournament is “Louder” by Ash Da Hero x Flow x ROTTENGRAFFY.

NJPW also recently announced that this year’s King of Pro Wrestling event on October 14th in Tokyo, Japan will feature a special Hrisohi Tananashi 25th Anniversary match in honor of this year being the 25th anniversary of the debut of Tanahashi’s wrestling career.

DDT Pro Wrestling and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling recently announced that they will be partnering with DEFY Wrestling for three events this November in Seattle, Washington.

The National Wrestling Alliance recently announced that they have recently signed Southern Six (‘Thrillbilly’ Silas Mason, Kerry Morton, & Alex Taylor) to exclusive contracts with the company.

Combat Night MMA announced that Xia Zhao, former Xia Li in WWE, will be making her official MMA debut at their August 3rd event in Kissimmee, Florida. It was announced that Zhao will be facing off against Xiomara Lee at the event.

Josh Barnett recently announced three new matches for the card of GCW’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XI event on July 28th in Brooklyn, New York:
