TNA Impact! TV Taping Spoilers – TNA Talent Makes Injury Return

TNA Wrestling held a new set of television tapings on Sunday at the Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

This new set of tapings focused on the fallout of Slammiversary 2024 and will be for future episodes of TNA Impact!

In regards to notable moments from the tapings, Matt Cardona made his return from injury at the tapings. During PCO and Steph De Lander’s wedding ceremony, Cardona made his surprise return and crashed the wedding. This was Cardona’s first appearance in TNA since this past April due to torn pectoral injury.

TNA Xplosion:

• Rich Swann defeated Reverso
• Tasha Steelz defeated Gisele Shaw

TNA Impact!:

• New TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth came out to the ring and gave a promo. Nemeth stated that he promised to be a fighting champion. Nemeth’s promo was interrupted by Mustafa Ali who came out and stated that he plans on starting a new campaign to make the World title great again. This led to a match between Ali and Nemeth being made.
• Steve Maclin defeated Cody Deaner. Prior to the start of the match, Maclin gave an anti-Canada promo which led to Deaner responding with a pro-Canada promo in return.
• AJ Francis defeated Sami Callihan. Rich Swann & Josh Bishop came out with Francis for his match. Francis picked up the victory after a lot of interference help by Swann and Bishop.
• Hammerstone & Ash By Elegance defeated Eric Young & Jordynne Grace
• Josh Alexander came out to the ring to give a promo. Alexander refused to address what happened at Slammiversary 2024 and left the ring.
• “Broken” Matt Hardy & ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) defeated JDC & The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers). During the match, Moose ran out and tried to distract Hardy & ABC leading to Joe Hendry coming out to even up the odds at ringside.
• PCO & Steph De Lander came out to the ring for their wedding segment. Rhino was the best man, Xia Brooksie was the maid of honor, and TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella officiated the wedding. During the ceremony, Matt Cardona made his surprise return and stated that he had gift for the wedding leading to AJ Francis and Rich Swann attacking everyone and Cardona joining in on the attack. Cardona tried to get De Lander to leave with him which she refused over being mad at what just happened.
• The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, & Wes Lee) defeated KUSHIDA & Speedball Mountain (“Speedball” Mike Bailey & Trent Seven)
• Rosemary defeated Kristara
• Josh Alexander gave a backstage promo claiming that he is the best Canadian wrestler ever and is mad that fans support Nic Nemeth and Joe Hendry instead of him.
• Frankie Kazarian defeated Ryan Nemeth. Following the match, Josh Alexander came out and attacked Nemeth.
• Gia Miller held an interview with Joe Hendry. Hendry talked about how Alexander turned his back on the fans.
• Jody Threat defeated Masha Slamovich
• Mike Santana defeated Campaign Singh. Following the match, Santana gave a promo directed at Moose. Santana stated that he promised to be the next TNA World Champion but before that, he is going to make Moose suffer.
• TNA World Championship – Nic Nemeth (c) defeated Mustafa Ali. Following the match, Josh Alexander came out and had a staredown with Nemeth.
• Dark match – TNA Digital Media & International Heavyweight Championship Casket match – PCO (c) defeated Moose. During the match, The System came out to attack PCO leading to Joe Hendry running out to save PCO.
