Jack Perry Comments on TNT Title Victory at Forbidden Door 2024

As noted before, this past Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 event at the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York featured Jack Perry winning the vacant TNT Championship in a Six-Man Ladder match.

Following the match, AEW held a digital exclusive backstage interview with Perry discussing his thoughts about his TNT title victory.

“I’ve been back here two months. In that time, I joined The Elite, I hit Tony Khan, I got rid of Kenny Omega, I pinned Bryan Danielson, and, I’m the TNT Champion. Get a good shot of that right there. You know what that says? That says that I’m the future. That says that I’m the face of this network, even though half the guys in these locker rooms, they probably don’t even want me here. Well, guess what? I ain’t going anywhere.”

Brody King Injury Scare at Forbidden Door 2024 Update

This past Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 event also featured Brody King being involved in an injury scare incident over his rough landing from Tomohir Ishii’s brainbuster during the Four-way Tag Team match on the Zero Hour Pre-show. AEW CEO Tony Khan stated during the post-show media scrum that King was feeling fine after the match and avoided suffering an injury.

King recently provided a health update on Twitter stating in a joking manner that the joke was on Ishii since he had no brains to be busted.
