Update on Identity of AEW’s New Masked Wrestler “Hologram” Vignette
As noted before, this past Saturday’s AEW Collision show in Southaven, Mississippi featured a “hologram” vignette teasing the upcoming debut of a new mystery masked person in AEW.
Bodyslam.net’s Cassidy Haynes reported that his sources stated that the identity of this new mystery masked person is former Lucha Libre AAA and Major League Wrestling talent Aramis.
Haynes reported that those spoken to stated that Aramis will not be using his former ring name in AAA and instead will be debuting under a new persona. Haynes also reported that Aramis’ deal with AEW came together over the last few weeks after AAA was unable to re-sign him to a new deal.
Haynes also reported that AEW officials plans for Aramis’s debut and a potential debut date are currently not known beyond him having a “hacker” type gimmick for his new character.
LuchaBlog reported that his sources confirmed Haynes’ report about the identity of this new masked wrestler being Aramis.
